They don't sell them in Minnesota but I picked this bottle up when I was in Milwaukee. It's a solid bourbon and probably the best I've had outside of Kentucky or Indiana. It didn't blow me away but was very enjoyable.

To answer the question in the title, absolutely. The best bourbon I've ever had came from Texas. ⭐ My bottle of the Bottled In Bond has a plastic cap. And a screw cap actually provides a *better* seal than a cork. By its nature a cork will always have a gap, however narrow, between the cork and the bottle, while for air to pass by a screw cap is more difficult because it has to get around the threads. Of course while the plastic or wax seal is on their equal. But an unopened screw top is at least as good a seal as a sealed cork, which is why screw tops typically don't have any other seal (and on sodas, water, soy sauce, milk, etc. never have another seal). 🙂 Some people might insist that you're pronouncing the state wrong. Don't let 'em bother. I've known natives who pronounced it Missouree, and I've known natives who pronounced it Missouruh. I suspect it has to do with what part of the state someone's from.

@@BourbonBammer Oh, Texas is dead easy. It's when you come to the place names that you can get into trouble. Mexia is ma-HAY-a, Boerne is Bernie, Gruene is green, and New Braunfels is New BRON-fuhls. Then there are Fayetteville, AR, which is FATE-vul, and Miami and Boise City in Oklahoma, which are my-AM-uh and Boys City. 🙂
