Thanks Greg. Plenty more of that stuff to do… life is just so crazy at the moment. Any particular things you’d like to see?

Very informative video. James did well presuming he’s never done it before. Never seen ‘mooring pins’ like that before.

They are really old ones… I’ve actually replaced them since. The ones that look like nappy pins are great but I’ve bought some chains.

James has been on speed boats before but not narrowboats.

Not a boater here… I learnt a lot there’s a lot more to it than I realised

@@CutSluice chains are definitely a much better option. The thought of those pointed ends towards your hull didn’t look good. I’d be worried the boat went into them and straight through the hull. 😱

Yeah that wouldn’t be ideal!

Hi, did James hire a boat for a week? I’m wondering if he found a hire company that would let a single hander hire a boat? Great vlog, thanks

Thanks Debbie, he hasn’t yet but I’ll ask my marina and see what they say.

Thanks. I've been looking for a company that will hire out to a single hander in the winter to gain more experience. It will be interesting to see how James gets on @CutSluice
