Someone send this to Taylor ASAP!!! This is the stuff that Taylor loves. The creative process. I love hearing the raw sound of a song. But you know what I would love to see and especially hear? Taylor doing a raw album like this. I'm a rock girl at heart and I've been wanting to hear a rock album from her. Emo, punk, alt, grunge, heavy metal, etc. Taylor can TOTALLY pull this off. I like Jack Antonoff but it's always good to change things up and keep inspiration flowing. I'd be down to hearing Alex Melton and his friends being producers for a future album of hers. I think a majority of folks would love that as well. Awesome job guys! ✌❤

raw? lol this is produced to death. It's still awesome, but its not raw. Far from it.
@yvetterodriguez2550
Жыл бұрын
@@jonathanoakley88 Yes, raw. Did he look up notes or read a song sheet to find the chords to the song? No. He sat there, listening and strumming away at his guitar trying to find the right chords to the song. By listening to the song, he was tuning his ear to the music. He did that on his own. Not many people can do that. He's very good at it. He's got an ear for music. Obviously, the produced stuff came afterwards after recording certain parts to the song, he then edited it later and created his own version of it.

@@Llama_charmer Honestly even some fans (like me) think she‘d do so well in rock/pop rock. Her third album Speak Now has a couple songs with a rock vibe but she just dips her toes in. “Better Than Revenge” is one of those songs. And in some concerts she’s even done rock versions of her songs and they’re so good I wish she would just go for it but I understand the pop appeal 😅

Whether you consciously picked up on this in your one listen or not, you managed to incorporate my favourite feature of the original! Which is, in the second and third chorus the last line has second vocal up the octave that kind of takes over as the melody. Instead in your final chorus you just sing the final line up the octave. Close enough! I also love your take on the second pre-chorus. Fantastic work on everything!

Y'all just did it all by ear just the two of you. I'm always impressed when people play by ear like that. The outcome was really solid. ✌️
