Really nice to watch the whole process! One thing I’d suggest is to use transform:translate instead of the left property on the indicator circle; it’s much more performant

Great tutorial! I always learn something new from you. I have a challenge for you. It might be the toughest one yet. Make a similar layout like codepen editor where you can resize multiple sections with custom dragbar. And you have to have at least three sections side by side like codepen has html, css and javascript. Having only two sections side by side is rather simple. Any more than that complicates things a lot. And the layout has to be made in such a way that adding more sections should not break the functionality. It can be pure html, css, javascript or you can also use something like react. I actually tired it myself. It's way more complicated than it looks. I really want to see how you handle such functonality!

Thank you so much! it was really too funny following you while coding. and what i really like that it's too real. because sometimes you struggle with what it seems easy things by turning some easy solutions too hard solutions and vice-versa... and i totally understand it's because of you were under the stress of the camera and you pay attention for not spending time on easy things as result for not making the video too long with zero editing, while it's a coding reality show :)

Such an awesome video with process thinking! Currently im going a beginner course in web development, and i've been abit hardstuck on designing forms and nav in CSS with stuff like positioning and more fundamental understanding of display and flex. This helped me understand way way way more than my study book could. Golden content just in time, keep up the great work, love your vids! :)

At 6:08, it didn't center because the display is inline-block. So you need text-align: center, not the margin.

Hi bud, love your stuff and realise you are teaching us how to code by making it from the ground up not necessarily showing us the easiest or quickest way, and as a teaching curve would be slim, I'm a slow learner which works out well in the long run as I learn more about how not to do thing, it is very frustrating some times but has it's benefits in the long run, it was the same doing my business database and come up with ways to get around my lack of code skills (I will be good one day). What I did with the database is show hide or visible invisible that way I make say the five images all with their own circle and house, contact, products etc then on click show the image and page I want and hides the home image which hides the circle and shows the image and it's circle I want and obviously moves to that page. Just wonder is that a good idea or a dumb one, it's works well in my database. I did let myself down on my writing skills also, but my secretary is good. Thanks for what you do, I find it a very honourable thing for people who share thier knowledge for free, good on ya bud.

@@emmanuelburdin4641 So I was able to figure out that its to do with the page refreshing, it resets the indicator property every time. I got around this by using JavaScript's 'window.location.pathname' = if this equaled to the page name I was on, then set the indicator property to whichever one i needed. Hope this helps! :)
