Those pens look brilliant and I’ll find out how good they are when they arrive tomorrow! 😂 Thanks for the link and the discount. 😃 x

Hello there Lily, I've tried Zentangling, I didn't really gel with it and always ended up drawing the same patterns over and over. I did enjoy drawing mandalas although I get annoyed with myself when I can't get the shapes symmetrical lol. I actually started drawing my own mandalas to colour, it was years ago before all the good mandala books were available. I recently dusted my sewing machine off too, just to alter the sleeves on a few dresses but it has started off an itch to make something from scratch again lol. Take care, hope to see you again soon 🥰

I think my sewing machine comes out once a year Lorraine! I used to make clothes... but haven't for a while. I do enjoy sewing though! I'm not sure Zentangling is for me... I might declutter the books!

I recently destashed all my zentangle books, I just could not get into it. Glad to see your video on it though. I found the ink needs to fully dry before it is waterproof. Before that it does bleed.

Yeah, I'm not overly keen on it either! I did let the pens dry for over 5 minutes while I went downstairs, I would have thought that would be enough time.

I love all the zen doodle stuff, because there are no rules compared to zentangle's rules. I feel like neurographic art is a cousin to the zentangle and as long as I have a crisp line, it almost always looks at least presentable. I don't know if you've looked at neurographic art yet or if it's your specialty, I've just seen a couple of your reviews and decided to stick around, so please forgive my lack of knowledge.

Yes I agree, zendoodle is not as prescriptive. I have played around a bit with Neurogtaphic art (not made a video about it though). Thanks for sticking around 🥰

Look into Santangle. The woman who brand it is, is very popular because she has a range of stencils and is very versatile😋

Hahahaha, sorry, I had to think of the "draw a f**king owl meme' when you started drawing the first zentangle and you got to the shading bit.

Haha there was *nothing* about shading! 🤣

By the way, I've discovered that the best zentangles are your own doodles, rather than copying something from a book. Put pen to paper and just let your hands to the 'talking' ❤

Yeah, that's what I always used to do.

I hate zentangle books. Drawing it seems funner though like when I was in school bored and doodled all over my notebooks to pass the time lol

Yes, that last one I did, reminded me of the "phone doodles" I used to do, lots of swirly lines!
