If there's something that is going to happen on a regular basis on the farm, you guessed it, it's a flat tire. If you're going to have a farm you need to know how to fix a flat tubeless tire. Most farm equipment has tubeless tires and patching them is no easy task.
I have several John Deere's but my Kubota ZD 1211 is a beast when it comes to cutting grass around the homestead. It has a 72 inch wide cutting mowing deck and it has the power to do the job. But I lost a battle with a piece of hog wire the other day while mowing and it must have punctured my right rear tire. It put a pin hole in the sidewall near the thick section of the rim bead. This couldn't have been in a more difficult spot to fix with a tubeless patch. But I was determined to fix it. It was either that or to buy a new tire.
If the hole was a gash rather than a pin hole, I would have had to buy a new tire, I'm sure.
In this video I took the time to show you how to install a patch in a tubeless tire. This same method can be used on car and truck tires as well as farm equipment such as mowers (in this case it was my zero turn mower), tractors, etc. Sometimes it is impossible to repair the flat tire, and this was questionable. As always, we hope you enjoy the videos here on my channel and learn something from them. Please subscribe.
