Indian in India is buying and supporting Chinese companies in China thus directly supporting China's CCP not India. Some Samsung and LG phones are made in Vietnam and some Xiaomi phones are made in Indonesia, so does it mean you are buying Vietnamese's or Indonesian's products? Obviously not since the facilities, manpower, technology, logistics and other assets are owned by the said brand manufacturer not the country where it is manufactured.

They are also known for supporting hackers to infiltrate foreign companies . They are also gold standard for stealing tech from foreign countries and replicating them without any permission from the people who developed the tech . I'd rather have a solid Indian company or even American Japanese Korean etc never Chinese. BTW Huawei is funded by Chinese military and the CEO used to work as a military engineer

I am from India and have a Marketing Business. India has stronger Copyright and Patent laws and it is also enforced meaning if you make knockoffs here like WicDonalds, a knockoff of McDonalds, you'll get sued by the latter company unlike in China where copying and ripping off is okay. India also has lots of young population i.e. 50% & 75% below the age of 25 & 35 respectively and with higher education, meaning more skilled workforce. I think other brands should consider moving their production from China to India to avoid unfair trade practices done by the Chinese Government.

Okay. For once I am glad seeing India, in more than something bad. My Two Cents : In India, I feel that we do well in manufacturing in simple things. But fail miserably in complex things. A good example is an automotive market in India where taxes are similarly. Many companies have made great small cars and bikes ask them to make multiple cylinder engines(2/4 in case of bikes) or high-quality cars ( v6/v8) we fail. Why do you ask? We don't have the training and the education to have that many people working in these industries. Don't get me wrong, I love my Poco Phone, but I know an s10 will be never made here, and I do expect to pay the 20-25% hike that will command. Glad to see we have something for once, which others wanna buy from here :P

The graph at 9:33 reminded me a book that I read long time ago, called "The Innovator's dilemma", by Clayton Christensen. Companies care a lot about their profit margins, and usually higher complexity comes with higher profit margins. If there is a new competitor on the lower end of complexity, they will most likely give that market up and focus on their higher-complexity products. I guess the same holds for countries.

fuckers its import duty, because these products arent manufactured in india that's why they're required to be paid more than the usual cost. Its basic economics and well executed. If you're so pissed about it then build your own gpu company.

Chinese smartphones have a market share of 81% in India due to its high bang-for-the-buck and overall quality, as the India start to try to boycott China, some Indian companies have rebranded Chinese smartphones to make them "Indian smartphones". This is becoming a bit ridiculous.

@@secilrods5170 maybe you don't understand English, word 'assemble' is a synonym of word 'manufacture', u can google it if you want. And India started with assembling and slowly started creating parts too.. now even lithium ion batteries are made in India..
