Awesome video! One small recommendation... The player camera angles face specific directions implying they are on the left and right of the table, but the life total / hand displays are placed on the opposite sides. Threw me off at first. Got used to it after a couple minutes so it isnt that big a deal, but I would probably put them on the other side next time

The classic draw deck was in old type 1.5, before it became legacy. The worldgorger dragon combo deck would very often just cause a draw if it was about to otherwise lose. I had matches that would go to 6 or 7 games.

Wonderful veedeo! I was really impressed by the constantly updating list for both players' hands which was very unobtrusive at the bottom of the screen the whole time. You guys also both did an amazing job with quick shuffling and saved so much time by not cutting each others' decks. Ya'll were shuffling so quickly that I thought it was being edited out in post at first. Pauper is such an impressive and deep format full of little meaningful choices, I'm so happy that you guys are bringing it the attention it deserves. MTGO Pauper is really nice, but nothing beats paper Pauper. 1 Hour videos is probably the sweet spot for MtG youtube audience, and I can't wait for more of these :) Cheers!

Caw gates is my favorite pauper deck because I feel like it’s very modular and adjustable to the meta whilst also not being very weak to sideboard cards. The main weakness of the deck is being somewhat slow and unexpected matchups.

I feel like what this match needed was some contrived stakes for the match; something that would make both players more invested in the game. Perhaps if Mengu had to wear a dunce cap in the next video if he lost. I think that would make the whole experience more engaging.

Hi Mengu. You’re by far my favourite content creator/pro in all of mtg, and you and cardmarket are the only mtg channels i actively watch. Just wanted to give some feedback: I know it’s your first video and it will probably change over time, but one of the things that makes cardmarket’s mtg videos good is the fact that they seem “natural” and not scripted when they talk to each other. This felt more “scripted”, which is something I’m sure you already know and will work on for the future. I’m only saying it because it makes the watching experience A LOT better when it seems natural and real. Another thing is the video from the camera that looks over the whole board. It’s pretty blurry, which makes it hard to read the cards that are currently on the board. Making the cards in play readable also helps making the video more immersive. Again, I’m a big fan and really hope to see you succeed in whatever you do. I’m very excited to see what this channel will become!

Hi mengu! Big fan of yours, you've made me fall in love with mtg with your videos. Can't wait for more gameplay action! Also, i don't know if this is intended, but i think cardmarket's videos best feature is the little explaining that players do in the other room, so that the plays are well understood by the audience and also educational. Minor point that probably wouldn't have changed the outcome of Game 2, but would have given Tommy another turn - Prismatic strands isn't protection, just damage prevention, so Tommy should have gained the 3 life off of Spinning Darkness because it still resolved rather than fizzling, putting him at 6, enabling him to survive the pumped hawk with the life gained from sacrificing Lembas
