Yes you can, not to attract others but to keep the bad smell away. Almighty Allah s.w.t is beutiful and He likes beauty and beauty is modesty.

Always give reference number for the hadith, this is very important. Show the arabic and also the translation, this is very important. This will make the videos closer to being scholarly.

Scholary comes from scholars only, not from ordinary muslims! And there is obvious reason she didn't give a refrence to the second hadith..

Thanks for your suggestion on adding hadith references; I'll consider it for future videos to enhance the content and will suggest to my editor to incorporate them in text on the video. For this video I am adding the references here: It was narrated that Zaynab, the wife of ‘Abd-Allah ibn Mas‘ood (may Allah be pleased with her and her husband) said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said to us: “If one of you (women) wants to go to the mosque, let her not put on perfume.” Narrated by Muslim (443). Aisha reported: We would go out with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, to Mecca and we would apply perfume made of musk to our foreheads, before preparing to perform the pilgrimage. If one of us perspired, the musk would run down her face. The Prophet would see it and he would not prohibit it for her. Source: Sunan Abī Dāwūd 1830 Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani

My daughter says she sweats and if she doesn’t use perfume she would smell bad..smelling bad is also considered bad in islam.. I also believe that our intention matters..if we do just to smell good so that we don’t stink but not to attract any men..

As a non. Muslim I wonder why Muslim men have beards but Muslim women can't show their hair
@aksoA67
9 күн бұрын
@@strongbow310good question! Simple answer: Allah says so in the Quran and bc we believe in an All Wise Creator, we hear and we obey to the best of our human ability to his commands. Other answer: Since Allah is all wise and we are not we can do nothing but guess with the limited knowledge and brain capacity he has blessed us with. Some Muslim women view it as a form of protection and a barrier from unwanted male attention. Also because it forces society to not judge you based on how you look but on your actions because when you are covered up that’s what’s more apparent. This helps us focus more on our character than our appearance which is something easy to get lost in. On top of that it is a form of modesty, and modesty is something that’s is valued in our faith both in men and women, it just looks different for the two genders. There is modesty in the way we both dress, speak, eat, walk, etc… Men also have a dress code of wearing loose clothing from the belly button to the knees and not wearing gold or silk (which women are allowed to wear). I hope this answered some of your questions, if I may recommend a KZitem channel called “The Muslim Lantern” he’s really good at explaining concept like this and apart from his KZitem channel he also does live streams with non Muslims answering questions they have about the Muslim faith! Thank you for your curiousness and questions ❤️

Should gay Muslim men hide their hair ?
@aksoA67
9 күн бұрын
@@strongbow310 that’s a great question! Gay Muslim men do not hide their hair because these rulings are based on gender not sexuality. You can wear a hat if you want! But it’s not an obligation on men to hide their hair. Also as Muslims we submit to Our Creator, the One God, Allah and His orders. We hear and obey to the best of our human ability. As muslims we believe life is a test for an eternal life to come. We believe that being gay is a test from Allah, it’s a desire that we struggle with and suppress for His sake. It’s something that Allah has forbidden us to act upon, and He is All Wise so He knows the reasons why it’s not good for us even if it is not apparent to us. Allah tells us in the Quran (our holy book), that we may love a thing and it is bad for us and we may hate a thing and it is good for us. The concept of a temporary life and an eternal one helps us find motivation to change the way we live to make it pleasing to Our Creator. P.s I used to identify as an agnostic queer person and it was hard in the beginning but I prayed to Allah to guide me and make it easier and He helped me through it. Some tests are harder than others and in Islam we believe Allah rewards you for every bit of struggle in this life that you went through for His sake and then multiples that reward while also forgiving your sins. We also believe that if you leave something for the sake of Allah, He will give you something better. Thank you for question!!❤️

Can we also use our own brains for a change? Why do we need a book for everything? If God wanted all of us to follow why can’t God be present amongst us and convey this openly? You don’t need a book for everything for heaven’s sake 🙏🏽

@@rajajessonsingh387 we believe it’s common sense to believe in The One who created us, we don’t make the rules, we listen and obey to Our Creator the best we can, ofc we make mistakes along the way but we believe in One Merciful God who forgives us if we slip up and repent. It’s not in our religion to force people into believing though, so if you don’t want to that’s your choice, we’ll make our choices and you can make yours, I appreciate your curiousness about our faith! Questions are amazing and help us think deeply. If I may suggest a KZitem channel that’s talks about these philosophical questions really well; “The Muslim Lantern” p.s. I used to think the same way so I’m not judging
