I love these interviews. I watched a program on Public television where scientist studying Great White Sharks near the Farallon Islands observed a shark that had been killed by Orca whales. After that event all the great white sharks in the area had disappeared. It was eventually surmised that the shark that had been killed had given off a chemical, or electrical impulse, and other sharks had sensed the chemical that was perceived as danger by other sharks. I don't remember if the shark intentionally released a chemical or if it was a responsive action, and sensed by other sharks. Anyway it is similar to grasses giving off molecular chemical that other grass plants detect. The natural world is more connected than we are aware of in our daily lives.

If you isolate yourself with a limited number of plants, depending on plant, you will communicate or they will die. I grow a lot of ginger and that root/plant/flowers are quite responsive to touch. I grow them in like 6 ft diameter patches…some patches are closer to me/radio in distance; they are healthier. Also when I water them and touch them (like a bath) vs just spraying; then they seem fuller/happier…it’s weird but soon you adapt to their rhythm, nature’s rhythm, not your own. And they don’t argue with you🤔🤙🏼✌🏼😊

Well shes lovely. The letter left out that that love first begins with yourself, and then you'll have the power to love in a way that facilitates change and growth in other organisms... quite a complex process to be put so simply by such a complex mind...
@mausperson5854

Why should we care what a rose wants? We generally don't care what the person five houses down the road wants. It's a wonderful type of romance to have 'faith' in but faith is the worst pathway to Truth that I can think of.
@pickitypopsnickitylovejone6558
Жыл бұрын
If you don't have faith in the possibility of finding truth, you simply won't find truth. Faith is the access point. If Einstein had no faith in the attempt to discover truth, we wouldn't know him today. Intuition is crucial to discovery and faith in the possibility of discovering something is crucial in making that intuition useful.

@@75tram Yeah, you could be right about that. But how long was she married to a billionaire? I read a few articles that Epstein was involved with the funding but honestly who wouldn't take it if they needed it. I'm curious if she gives credit to Jacque Fresco and Buckminster Fuller because that is who I thought of while researching her work? My lawn told me not to trust MIT professors but a beautiful rose next door called me a freemartin and told me I didn't know what I was talking about. Across the street a notorious bee hog Edelweiss told me my grass seeds were from China and the Rose was a foreigner. He told me to dig up my lawn and cut down the rose. I just walked in the house and thought I want the grass and the rose.

"It is important for the common good to foster individuality: for only the individual can produce the new ideas which the community needs for its continuous improvement and requirements-indeed, to avoid sterility and petrification." ~ Einstein -From a message for a Ben Schemen dinner, March 1952; Einstein Archive 28-932; On the topic of the natural world, (the universe being part of it..) Q: "Is the universe conscious?" The universe certainly is active. I doubt that the universe is aware of its activity, but instead has been fine tuned to regulate itself. The same applies to nature. Left alone it is self regulating and in harmony with everything else. In the book of Genesis it clearly states that we humans have been given the stewardship over everything on this planet earth. One way or another, we have fulfilled this role. I don't think anyone can deny or doubt that?

The right to repair movement has the right idea. If we could only have products available that were easily fixed and simple and have parts easy to come by it would prevent so much waste. Production isnt the biggest part ofthe problem i dont think. Its waste! And the programming and idiotic culture we have allowed companies to push upon us to keep using snd throwing away. It will correct itself eventually. Things never stay the same. But cycles do repeat.

A fantastic walk in the potentiality of beauty in the scope of nature and its symbiotic relationship to the essence of what it is to be human. There is a huge difference though between communication with the 5 senses and its reflection of beauty. The true essence of the beauty and communication via the nature world is the understanding it holds within the field of for lack of a better term psychedelics. Soma was an old word that held more condensed forms of meaning. The depths of understanding held in these compounds hold the essence of a missing book.

Killing an entire tree just for one day of the year is wasteful and stupid, regardless of how much personal bias and emotion you pour over the concept. If you look at the situation imploring logic and empathy, there's absolutely no way to conclude it's worth doing. Do you even know the origin of this practice? It used to be harvesting a dead or drying branch only to hang inside. Now we kill an entire living tree... It's ballooned into total nonsense just like the entire holiday has become consumerized BS.
