@@MallyJay299 Have you watched their latest yet? It's called "I Will Survive and Layne" really gets to show off his Beatboxing Chops (though they are a very versatile group, Geoff beatboxes too, Eli (the guy in the had, pronounced "L-E" rather they "E-lie"), does bass sometimes, and Geoff can get up there (though not QUITE in the same range as Earl (the guy with the beard) and of course J. None, who has some mad skills of his own. Check out "Warriors" too!

Welcome to the world of a cappella. The other two big groups in this category for reactions are Pentatonix and Home Free. VoicePlay is my personal favorite of the three. Members of VoicePlay are (L:R) Layne (primarily beatboxer), J None (baritone), Eli which is pronounced L.E.(tenor 2), Earl (tenor 1), and Geoff (bass). Both J and Geoff also have their own channels (J does hip hop, Geoff does audiobooks and Q&A style videos). I would recommend checking out Bridge over Troubled Water next (my favorite from them is Daddy Sang Bass though).

I agree with the commenter below that Voiceplay, Pentatonix and Home Free are the big three professional acappella groups. All of them really got their boost from appearing on the tv show The Sing-Off a few years back. There's another acappella group called Voctave that you should check out as well. Then on the amateur side of acappella there are the barbershop quartets and choruses, and last but not least collegiate acappella. Welcome to wonderful world of acappella!

Your VERY FIRST video was VoicePlay?? I've added some of your vids to my watchlist, and I saw you did a lot of them, but your first video ever was a VoicePlay reaction, and that's so cool. These guys are the best. Also, the moment you started _reacting,_ I insta-subbed. One of the most fun reactions I've ever seen, and I've seen quite a few!

First I want to say "Great Job!" Your reactions are pure and unrestrained. May you never lose your sense of wonder. Second, if you really want to be blown away, I recommend Queen in 5 minutes, Boy Bands in 5 minutes, Oogie Boogie's Song, and This is Halloween. Also I really recommend Mr. Blue Sky, a song by the Electric Light Orchestra, which VoicePlay really makes their own. I highly suggest listening to the original by ELO so you get an idea for the treat that is VoicePlay's version. Looking forward to more reactions from you. :)

Geoff's voice makes you feel like you are being wrapped in a warm fuzzy blanket. For some reason so many people haven't heard of the a cappella groups in general, probably because they do not get heard on the radio. Some of these groups have been around for ten or twenty years.

I am a bass with a C0-G5 range but I am only 18 and fairly new to the extended techniques that get me down there, I have been a beatboxer since I was young so I learned throat bass and inhale when I was like 13, hanging with older beatboxers on xbox. I have been practicing subharmonics and growl for about 2 months after hearing this bass singer. my chest can go to C2, A2 on a good day while my subharmonics go to about D1. C0-D1 I can get through my inhale. It will take hella time to be as good as Geoff but I am joining a Collegiate Acapella group (I also play jazz and march DCI) and musicians like him truly inspired me to be my best.

Again, welcome to Voiceplay. We hope you become a Voiceplaya! (I didn't make that up.) Geoff, the Bass, is a force of Nature. So many videos by them worth watching. Also Geoff Castellucci has his own channel, worth checking out. And there are many, many ACapella groups worthy of note, Pentatonix, Home Free, and ACapella "Solo" artists like Peter Hollens, and for more fun stuff, Paint (fun but also a bit dark sometimes). And you react the way I do, bouncing up and down and "No WAY-ing" through the videos. SO I've subscribed. For just fun videos, I recommend The Hillywood Show Parodies. What to watch depends on what you like, they have a WIDE range, but I love their LOTR one, their Doctor Who one, Pirates of The Caribbean (I also love Adam Lambert, so biased there), Supernatural 1 & 2, and Stranger Things. And Suicide Squad (better than the movie) and Cumberbatch's Sherlock. And Harry Potter...and those are just for starters!

I do know most of these guys have sung at the Disney Parks in Orlando. I don’t think J. None has. He’s the newest to the group and the youngest. I love Eli and J. None’s voices the most because they both have so much control and know when to belt and know when not to. I like Geoff’s voice but sometimes it’s overworked when it shouldn’t be. Same with Earl I like his normal singing voice with an occasional falsetto not falsetto most of the song. Saying all that they are my second favorite accapella group behind Home Free.

You know you are reacting to a great group when your first video gets over 100 views on the first day! BTW Geoff is pronounced jeff, I don't think anyone else has mentioned that yet. I love how excited you got! Geoff is my favorite bass I have ever heard. They are all fantastic. I second all the recommendations everyone else has mentioned. However, I have a few more for you. My recommendations: Boy bands in 5 minutes (if you are looking for something fun and they all have solos so it shows everyone's talent too) Queen in 5 minutes (super theatrical and it is an amazing Queen mashup) Warriors (their most recent song) Moana Medley (or any of the times they collaborated with Rachel Potter, but that one is my favorite) My Shot (the song is from the musical Hamilton), it's a hugely underrated video of theirs and I have never even seen Hamilton There are so many more but these are the top ones that I can think of off the top of my head.
