Brilliant ! Now I just need to know how to shorten the rise on a RTW jean. I'm 5'2" and even Petites have too long a rise ! It might be an impossible task, but if anyone can do it, it would be you ! :)

:) Thanks!! I have a few videos showing how to shorten the rise on RTW jeans... Here's one that shows how to take of the waistband and shorten the zipper... (which you can use along with this one) kzitem.info/news/bejne/qm6fqmmbpKhzppw and if you have excess ease on the inseam or you need to remove some of the vertical length in the rise... Here's a tutorial showing how to shorten the front rise that way (you can also shorten back rise this way too) kzitem.info/news/bejne/kaBqr5l5fZl8mpw Hope this helps!! Thanks for fitting along with me

Hi Jennifer, I’m a subscriber and a returning sewing from 50 years ago. I am having a problem removing Sulky Sticky Stabilizer from the back of a sweatshirt I have appliquéd. Silly me, I left it on for a couple of weeks as I was playing with the design. Big OOPs! What do you suggest now? It’s just stuck into the fleece. Thank you so very much. I just watched your 2016 video on how to remove it with the special tool, but this is worse! Bonnie

Oh no!! I did a quick search to see how to do that... I'm not sure because that's one thing I've managed to avoid doing :))) The most common answer I found was "You might want to switch to an adhesive spray and non-stick stabilizer"... (Which is what I do in most cases). The few suggestions I saw that were a little more helpful were: Try rubbing alcohol (dabbing it on with a cotton ball and let it sit) and soak in fabric softener... Then I remembered that I used Aqua Velva Men's aftershave to make quick work of cleaning my gooey hoops.... Maybe that will work! I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you, thanks for watching

That looks so comfortable. Can I use that type of waist band on other types of pants. My favorite waist band is flat in front & elastic in back.

Thanks so much. I have a pair that the button above the zip digs into me when I sit down. I also find going up a size gives me the gaping back. Again thanks so very much as I had no idea how to solve my problem.
