I love watching extreme trace repair. Broken and corroded PCBs brought back to life just does something for me.

This question is truly coming from a place of ignorance (not an attempt to correct you or act like I know better, as I've never attempted to repair a cracked board): I was surprised by the use of foil and tape, both of which are seemingly flimsy, to repair the board's structural integrity. I get that they work fine to repair the electrical integrity. But I'm interested to understand better why you chose them? I guess I was imagining fixing a cracked board would benefit from something firmer / more rigid, like the metal that the tabs on tabbed batteries use? Again, I'm ignorant here. Thanks in advance!

What a legend. Thank you so much for doing this. And you even replaced the caps. Amazing work, as always.

Not a problem! It was a lot of fun! I almost didn't recap it because some of them looked kinda new but figured whats the harm :)

Very cool. I'd like to hear more commentary about what you're doing and why. Maybe the tools you're using and stuff like that.. But overall it's pretty awesome.
