The phrase ‘a journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step’ comes to mind when reflecting on this project.
5 months ago - in April, we searched for a new home for Honour Martial Arts. We had no choice but to move. We had no choice but to find, sign, plan then build a new gym before August 23rd otherwise we would need to close the gym.
I was overwhelmed but I had my focus. I would not let the Honour team down. I looked ahead and put one foot in front of the other - not knowing how I’d get to the end but knowing I could get to the next step.
With hindsight now, I didn’t realise how chaotic this whole journey would be. Behind every turn and decision seemed to be an obstacle. Something would always go wrong. But - I’m beginning to realise that this is the nature of business and life as well. The path is never smooth, but it’s how you navigate and learn from the obstacles that is the whole point. I need to constantly remind myself this.
I would like to thank every single person that helped along this journey. There would be no Honour without you all. I am eternally grateful and the mission is stronger than ever.
We did this for you guys - Team Honour.
