I've now watched 3 non-GeoWizard straight line attempts and this one has to be the most entertaining of them, great work! Actually thinking about doing one as well in my municipality.

14:17 those red berries are actually hawthorn berries. They are perfectly edible as long as you watch out for the tooth shattering stone in the middle. Lots of red berries are edible but it is just safe to know what to pick. Some deadly berries like Belladonna are really black too so it isn't always the red ones

allmost what i was going to say; the rule is do not eat ANY plant or mushroom you do not know what is., if in a crisis or u pick a berry ur unsure about and it taste bitter, spit it out

Plants wont help you survive they just bring more risk for little calories. Berries don't grow much, humans should be looking for insects and small game instead if they want to survive.

@@berternie6181 What about roots? For instance burdock root. Burdock root is full of calories, pignut is also really good for that. Are roots worth considering?

@@toffinabof1353 any source of sugar is good and should be consumed or kept in storage if in a survival situation. Roots can absord alot of nasty compounds too so only source from well drained soil and from plants you're sure about. All just my opinion though there are many ways to do things

90% of red/blue are edible, 90% of white/yellow are not. But, this is a kind of surival only thing you shouldn't rely on it otherwise.

I'm so accustomed to watching GeoWizard-videos and not hearing some words in other circumstances, so whenever you say words like "farmer" and "brambles" it almost feels as though you're doing a trademark infringement 😂

I keep thinking how subversive these straight line missions are. All you do is walk in a straight line, not hurting anyone or anything, and the police and landowners are all like, "How dare you walk in a straight line in your own country. You should be punished."

@@NoJusticeMTG Also his new 'No Roads' mission is great. Why are cities built so that it is so difficult to walk and not be next to a road? I know Tom is more a man of action than philosophy, but his missions really make me think about how we've set up our country.

Well this is entertaining. Not only did youse learn from Geowizard's repeated glove mistake, but youse even brought spares! With gloves, there is no straight-line mission on earth that can't be completed. Your friend Adam seems to constantly be getting the rough end of the stick lol.

Use the audio from the other person's video/mic when you're showing long shots of them from your PoV. That way we can hear what they're saying! Man I hadn't thought of doing a cross-county one, that's a great idea. Unfortunately the state I live in is bigger than even blimmin Wales is, so I've got no hope.

When I clicked on this video I was kind of expecting west country carrot cruncher worzel accents. Subbed. I hope your channel can grow well. They have some pretty well established dense hedgerows down in somerset, compared to the often sparse and gappy hedgerows here down in the south of essex/north east greater london

What time of year is it there? Geowizard has always said he hasn't done any missions during the summer because the ferns and brambles get 3 metres high and if it was summer during this video I can understand why

We used Osmand Maps - although next time we will be using a proper GPS
