The descent of the Divine is in response to the yearnings and actions of people and not because of any karma of the Divine. To cite another example: There is a child on the floor. It wants its mother. It cannot jump up to the mother. The mother has to bend down, take the child and fondle it. In the same manner, to offer relief to devotees, to protect them and foster them, the Divine comes in the human form. This is described as Avatarana (the descent of God as an incarnation).
God comes down from His high level to give joy to His devotees. Man does not try to understand the inner significance of such incarnations.
Giving the appearance of a strange person, having a basket-like hair on his head, showing no signs which indicate any particular religion or sect, with no specific mark on his face indicative of any particular caste, he appears quickly in a moment and vanishes equally quickly, then suddenly comes into your presence, wearing a robe that comes right down to his feet and sometimes covers the feet and sometimes does not cover the feet. Inherent beauty and attractiveness are obvious in his playing and singing. These are the aspects of Shiva Sakthi that are contained in him. Neither his hair nor any particular mark on his body nor the kind of robes that he wears give any clue to his divinity. All these signs point to the young Sathya Sai as he appears in his external form. He always smiles. In him, you will find the aspects of Shiva and Sakthi. How is it possible for anyone to understand the secret of Sathya Sai whose form answers this description?
We are ever grateful to Bhagawan for showering His grace on His devotees. The Sai Bhagawatham is unending. As we dig deeper, so unfathomable His leelas and Mahimas are. It's a humble effort to bring these gems out of each Samarpan or a talk or a Satsang given by various Sai Devotees across the globe. The best effort that has happened post Maha Samadhi for Devotees is "SAMARPAN". The Divine cannot be explained but can only be experienced is what Bhagawan always said.
Thankful to the Samarpan teams across the globe for organising these enlightening talks to enrich our life, transform our life and to make a step forward towards Divinity.
We are grateful to Bhagawan for giving this opportunity to mine these gems out of the ocean of His love and compassion.
