Need a very large tank for water near your pumps set to supply. Un-priortize pumps for haulers but make sure tank is. You also need to vastly improve happiness so the beavers will live longer and the breeding tanks will increase the population faster. You also need wood storage right next to the engines.

I don't know if it was already said but the biggest problem you had was : since the majority of your colony was on " prioritized by hauler " but you have like 100 of building and just 10ish hauler no surprise that nothing we're moving. you should think that if you have a ratio at 1:1 maybe 1:2 it will work perfectly if you don't want to things to collapse again

Great recovery. Two notes: distance is listed at the top of the building pop up and adult beavers take 5 berries and 5 extract (it holds 2 at a time)

Definitely need a lot more Canola Oil storage, the grease factory guzzles it which is why the food factories then couldn’t process and you ended up with no food 😬

Nice to see you using a "Back to basics" approach when you almost killed the colony. General Idea when doing this::: - Pause all jobs - Un-pause and Prioritise Water Pumps/Farms, Typically just leave what you need to keep the colony alive at Max Priority so no other jobs steal from them in the future. - Un-pause enough halers to service the Pumps/Farms - Identify any gaps in food productions chains - Un-pause the food processing as needed with next highest priority - Identify any gaps in other productions chains - Un-pause the rest as you have beavers to fill the jobs based on the production needs Rules of thumb - Have at least as many haulers as you have buildings prioritised by haulers - Production chains and Storage should be setup so that the production beavers only have a short distance to storage for both input and output to reduce lag time for production so Ensure that you have small buffers of storage right beside your production for inputs and outputs with centralised Mains storage - Haulers will go to their hauling post at the beginning of their shift and if they have nothing to haul, so having hauling posts near the production centres and main storage is good placement. What I have found works for Production chains Raw product creation -> Small Storage/s -> Large Storage/s -> Small Storage/s -> First Stage of production chain -> Small Storage/s- > Large Storage/s -> Small Storage/s -> Second Stage of production chain -> etc The production beavers move to/from the small storage/s, the Hauler beavers move between the different sized storages. Output storage/s get set to Supply, Input and Large Storages get set to Obtain.

Glad to see Timberborn back.... You should totally build a monument to the eight beavers who saved the colony. Eight beaver statues, on a plinth of boxes, together in a circle facing inward, or outward in memory. :) How about 'occurrence' to replace 'the incident' ?

Thankfully you got the colony back on track 🙏. In terms of power you might build large water wheels and create a power grid through the entire colony. So you can save wood for the motors and beavers for the power wheels 🤔.

Nice recovery but I have a question following your last episode. If you have Beaver Bots, does that mean you will be more protected if (and I hope not) you have another colony collapse. Is the colony over if all beavers died or can the Beaver Bots recover the beaver colony from no living beavers?

With Iron Teeth, if there are only bots can recover from no Bio Beavers so long as there are enough Powered Bots to stock the Pods with Berries and Water. If it was Folk Tails there is no way to recover Bio Beavers when they all die.(not including cheating by using the Dev Console)

Take this opportunity to optimise the job priorities. Keep highest for those that keep the colony alive - water (panic about the pumping and tankage rather than dams), and food - everything else is to be no greater than high priority. I dislike the prioritise by haulers mechanic because of the lack of priority scaling and no management system like there is with workplaces beyond checking every building, and as what happened with the breeding pod there's always going to be one that gets missed. I prefer not to use it, instead if there is an issue with supplies getting around it's an indication that another hauling post needs opening up. Going back to why things got this bad - having more than one district and thinking the local stats are global stats - if a better/more automatable solution than constantly monitoring the condition of each district exists, point it out. Maybe a resource management mod exists that measures the supply versus consumption of each resource.

I had an incident yesterday, my 300+ beavers dropped to 30 before I noticed as I was running at x100 speed waiting for some water to evaporate. The beavers were all dying of hunger even though I had over 10K food. I think at x100 speed they don't have time to eat but at x30 not a problem.

Why do you want a 100 beavers when you only need 3 technically 4 1 head, 1 torso, 1 limbs and 1 hauler the bots can do the rest. a 100 beavers is just putting more strain on the system when its not needed. 20 given i don't think bots can farm at least not iron teeth but yeah 100 is just pointless and not needed.

There are a lot of parts that go to making bots, and bot production is slow at first, so it takes a lot of beavers to supply the bot factories. Once it gets rolling, then bots can supply the bot factories, but until then, roughly 100 beavers allows for the production chain, haulers, and injured beavers to not impact the food and water production chains.
