unfortunately tommy was too tommy for me. tommy likes to bitch, do things wrong on purpose. and then just roast everyone. while it is a funny joke on itself. it just prooved that he didn'T take this seriously by actually doing the joke. in a teaching context, this was a disaster and patrick literally told him that toward the end. i will agree that his presentation was something. but good is not the word i would use. but out of the three he was the one not having a problem with talking to strangers. to be fair though, the only one who took it seriously was clearly shayne. he actually tryed. and his content was actually pretty valuable a lesson contrary to the others. though awkward and all.
@dndbasement2370

@@elizabethgatchell4546i think shayne actually really tryed compared to the other two. true he failed, but the lessons he brought "watch a ton of stuff and learn." and then "know your audience" are pretty good advice. compared to the others who literally just did a joke in a ted talk. shayne actually tryed the challenge.

There is a lot for the student to learn here. Tommy cared about being funny and sexy, which is the key of the sucess of many entertainers. Shayne cared about the students, made a point about knowing the business and made them care about him. Establishing empathy with yourself is an amazing ability that makes people care about you and what you do. Angela used dirty tactics and won, showing the hard reality of the business. All made their bits for the benefit of the viewer of the video, not the students. Only the audience matters, all the rest is noise.

No, but Shayne actually showed something really cool there. He showed how psychology (human body language and behavior aspect) works. Through the course of his presentation, he analyzed body language and reaction or response to categorize each individual into a possible comedy genre that is preferred by each individual and the fact that he guessed a lot accurately is not bad, it was not perfect, but it was pretty impressive. It shows how every individual, to a certain level, categorizes individuals (and this may vary from individual to individual the type of categories they produce), but it is an actual human behavior thing (this is what sociology touches on). Also, some nurses and doctors in psychiatry (especially in acute environments) understand the importance of understanding body language in a way that relates to safety concerns to prevent any adverse situations

I love that they like to bring up that Angela went to a performing arts school and that somehow makes her dumber than everyone else but you can tell when it comes to performing arts. She is very well educated and has a great vocabulary.

Some of the angles, some of the scenes, the facial expressions. This is some of your guys best work so far. Like when Shayne goes "Max, I'm gonna go with you" at 28:48 and the scene shifts to Max's face. It's like a scene from a written tv show. Just gold.

This was so fun to watch. Couldn't stop smiling throughout. Tommy started things off so strong. Loved his energy and would 100% take his course just for the trench coat alone. Angela was iconic as always. So engaging. Shayne got a respectable third in my opinion. If he had correctly guessed them all, he probably would have won. Shout out to Patrick for being such an all rounder. Truly one of the funniest guys on the internet.
