Carried a G23 gen 3 for most of my L.E. career trusted and relied upon. Sold it last year and took a leap of faith on a Canik TP9SF Elite. Honestly for for me it has been a better shooting and fitting gun than my old G23 and flawless in reliability.

I have a Timber Wolf and use it for competition shooting. I guess it’s good and see no issues with it and for 9mm I actually prefer it slightly. Since I’m shooting competition it’s hard to say if it’s a good idea for a carry gun but my experience has been good, after some working in and adjustment. Of course I’m talking about sport use and not as a carry gun and I only have a 3 gun build with this platform and don’t shoot it as ISPC or the like and definitely don’t carry it because I’m shooting a very “minor” loading because rules for gaming. In this use it is exceptional and one of my frames has at least 35,000 rounds with exactly 5 malfunctions according to my logs not including operator induced issues like pressing against barriers and failure due to improper handling. (I’m sure or reasonably so that those issues are due to pushing the limits of minimum cycle rates and definitely doesn’t include a few hundred “pet” loads to figure out what would or wouldn’t work in my set up.

I've carried the same Glock 19 Gen 4 since I originally purchased the weapon in 2014. All stock, all original OEM parts. It never fails, never jams and never lets me down. It's accurate on the range and I would trust my well being and that of my wife and newborn child's to this pistol. I recently just started building a Gucci Glock clone after sourcing parts from reputable dealers. After my parts arrive, I will be building my glock and giving my old one to my wife after I replace the old innards. I also used to have several friends who just didn't like Glock and preferred things like Springfield or Sig Sauer. Let them shoot my G19 at the range and they all bought their own.

For carry or fighting absolutely. I actually use the G34/G35 or the G40/G41 rear sights because I actually like them and use them for my race guns. In actuality I always carry a pocket knife, mini flashlight and a first aid kit. Honestly it’s far more useful but if you carry all the time then go sick, I just couldn’t be bothered since it’s a low priority issue at least for me. (Go 2A if you want I don’t want this right but by all means absolutely want this freedom.)

Yeah, buy an M&P and drop an aftermarket trigger in it and it is better than ANY Glock you could ever build. Or go a step farther and buy an HK P30, any Sig, any CZ, or any FNH and have TEN TIMES the pistol ANY Glock build could ever be. Glock are THE most over rated pistols on the planet! Fact. Why is it that their logo is ‘Glock. Perfection’ ....yet I would bet that 99.999% of EVERYBODY who buys them modifies them to the point you can almost not even call them a Glock anymore....? 🥴 Glocktards are gonna lose their minds, but take my advice, I have SEVERAL friends that were full blown Glocktards, and after they took my advice and actually TRIED another type of pistol, they switched and sold their Glocks. Anyone who can actually think for themselves and TRY something else...and not believe all of the gun store commandos that just push Glock, and tries other pistols will come to see that the TERRIBLE grip angle, non supported barrels, garbage build quality(that seems like ten year olds in a sweat shop built them from legos), the terrible ergonomics, and the fact that once you rub off the finish, they easily rust...are not what all the people who just buy one because that is what so and so says is the best...will shoot other brands and realize Glock are the most over rated crap out there. The ONLY way I would ever ‘choose’ a Glock, is if my guns were gone, shit is hitting the fan, and there is a loaded Glock laying next to an empty Hi-point....then I would grab the Glock....otherwise there is not a Glock on the planet I would take for free if I had to keep it and shoot it. Glocktards, go ahead and lose your minds now....because I know you can’t handle it when anyone says ANYTHING negative about your holy Block pistols.
@rickmoss7040
4 жыл бұрын
And before you get on and say something ignorant like why do a lot of police depts, or similar use them and have for a long time?!....because when they came out back in the 80s, when the Miami and New York shootouts happened when a lot of good officers died(God rest their souls)...Glock was just in the right place at the right time and had something to offer that nobody else was offering for the cheap price they offered depts...so yes, they became very popular, and are a decent pistol.....but nowhere near what a lot of people claim....just saying why spend $3,000 on a Glock build to make it so much better....when you could spend a little more on a pistol than a factory Glock, and have even a better pistol than a ‘custom’ Glock build.....? Makes no sense to me. To each his own, and buy what you want....but there are SO MANY better options if you want a ‘better Glock’....you can buy it....it just won’t be a Glock....so just for your information, to the Glocktards, I will not get on here and argue with you....you will NEVER change my mind, I think Glock pistols are super over rated, and will never own another one....too many better options out there that are better, and even more reliable. My carry choice, and the pistol I own several of....went over 91,000 rounds during the testing before production....and all they did was change two springs....ZERO MALFUNCTIONS....so I also don’t want to hear the stupid ass reliability argument. Sorry for the rant, I do feel better....but Glock are just not the gun so many people think they are....they just don’t try anything else. So to those who actually have shot others and chose Glock, you like what you like, carry on....I am talking more to the sheep who can not think for themselves and refuse to even try other stuff....yet they sit here and blast people for shooting other ‘shit guns’....that a lot of are actually better than Glock....rant over. Have a good day fellas....sorry I triggered so many Glocktards.
