deserves more views. One of the few videos that breaks down scientifically that one can gain MUSCLE and LOSE fat at the same time (although there needs to be realistic expectations).

@@hands-ongaming7180 its alright, as long as your not gaining fat you could continue then eventually cut leaving you with some muscle and low body fat where you can now lean bulk with the clean slate provided by low body fat and some muscle mass.

I get less then 4 hours a night of sleep, that's one of the reason why I struggle with my journey in weight loss and muscle gain! But I fairness that's not bad compared to what I used to get years ago had insomnia I couldn't sleep more then half hour or at times not even that, but change in diet and exercise has helped.

what is a conservative deficit entail , 1 lb a week vs 2 ?

another awesome video but I was thinking about the whole body recomp thing, where you can lose fat and build muscle at the same time in a calorie deficit. I assume the fuel used to build muscle is from the fat being burned? in that case, if I was in a 400 cal deficit and was successfully recomping, would that mean I have 400 cals to fuel muscle growth? But if I was in a 200 cal surplus, would that make it less effective at building muscle because there is less available energy? I feel like i'm missing something here
@edward___1111
Жыл бұрын
and what is the difference in muscle growth when comparing a standard bulk and a successful recomp? I'm guessing the muscle growth from a recomp would be less?
@FlowHighPerformance1
Жыл бұрын
1. This is not really how it works. Muscle is primarily build from amino acids - which we get from dietary protein. 2. Yes, you would usually see a faster rate of growth during a surplus compared with a bulk

I have a question: Are there any benefits in body recomposition compared to the classical bulk/cut approach?
@FlowHighPerformance1
Жыл бұрын
From a physiological perspective - I dont think so. From a PRACTICAL perspective - I'd say definitely. You dont have to deal with the emotion stress of gaining fat during a bulk (if that is an issue for you) 👍

Not usre if we can trust the results of the bodybuilder as these are using PED's. A normal human bein won't be able to increase his muscle mass when being at 8% bodyfat. Someone going from 20% to 15% may be able to add some muscle mass, under 15% this will become extremely hard or need to have top tier genetics. but the general idea is indeed correct.

@FlowHighPerformance1 ok thx, but a bodybuilder his lifestyle and genetics will be top-tier. I don't think someone average at 10% bodyfat can recomp. But that's not the point, the point is, the leaner you get, the harder it gets, which we all agree on. In my belief, as a natural normal guy, they point where recomp stops, is 15%bodyfat
