Fantastic video! I am eager to investigate how creating storyboards for my projects might be aided by the AI photos from Midjourney.

I appreciate your effort in making the video, but after watching - I'm no closer to the answer that I was looking for.

Thanks for your comment. What is it that you’re looking to do specifically?

@@ailessons I was looking for tips on how to use mid journey as a storyboard generator - and to hear feedback on if it was a possible solution.

You can create the images for a storyboard. Keeping the characters consistent from image to image is still difficult. If you want gesture drawings for the storyboard, then midjourney is good for that. You can’t create a storyboard entirely with only midjourney…just the images of the camera shots. You’ll need another tool to add text descriptions of shots and to format everything. Eventually, I expect, there will be an AI storyboard generator but midjourney isn’t yet that tool. Good luck!

Horrible. Continuity is non existent.

I am not bashing your attempt to create tutorial (thank you) but AI inability to crate continuity in any way shape or form.

I'm a story board artist and you can't yet. you can't edit or have a recurring character that will look the same throughout the story. I couldn't think of way to tell it about angles and lighting if you tried it would probably take you longer than me just drawing it.

Thanks for your comment. Good to get a perspective from a story board artist.

have you tried the new cref and sref in Midjourney v6? This still is imperfect but a bit more consistency is possible between frames

Its good for new filmmakers with no contact or resources for storyboards or even camera angle knowledge or experience.

Hold on, hold on. You gave us prompts for what NOT to do, but not prompts for what to do? I know you explained it, but you'd still want to deliver prompts on how to do it.

Thanks so much for this video! This was very helpful! Would you say doing each panel is more efficient? And if so, do we just keep adjusting the prompt?
@ailessons

Yes, I think it works better to focus on one panel at a time, adjusting the prompt as needed for that panel. I'm glad to hear you found the video helpful!

critiscim: 1)your talk is slow and reminds of fairy tale, trying to combine it with education is not helpful. 2) you did not answer the question of your video. I do not know if i can create, i know that you do not think there is a story on the storyboards nidjourney created.. 3) you spend tooooooo much time explain what "story board" is again and again instead of explaining HOW to make it and provide actual advice on prompts or how to manage. Did you use and ai to wrtie the script of this video? you waste 5 mintes of ourtimes, not good result
