Good video. I been thinking about trying to do some stuff on the side for a little extra money as well. Thanks for the advice.

I'm on my second new LS tractor, MT3 52. I'm considering buying a brush cutter. Would you recommend the LS brand brush cutter over the tractor store ones? I see the price is quite a bit more for the LS one, just wondering if the quality is worth the money spent. Thanks in advance. Tom

I would recommend a heavy duty cutter rated to cut three inch trees. Honestly, I would buy a flail mower with hammers. I have had great service with my flail.

What size rotary cutter are you running on the mt240e? 5’? Thank you.

I no longer have that tractor. I ran a 6-in rotary cutter but it would handle a 72 in less hilly environments.

Here is a video on how I figure out cost. You have to make a profit or you are paying someone else to run your tractor.kzitem.info/news/bejne/smiX3IiMsV90g3o

How long on average does it take to mow an acre of flat pasture ground with a 6 ft rotory cutter?
@TonysTractorAdventure

If it is smooth and not overgrown, I would say less than an hour depending on the tractors HP. Lot of factors in how fast a person can cut.

I'm in the market for another tractor & thought about some side jobs like your doing to help justify buying what I want instead of what I need lol. The problem I have is I only live about 75 miles west of you & it's big farm country. Every house you pass seems to have a tractor not sure I could pick up enough jobs to justify

I am surprised you didn't recommend buying a LS. Due to its lower cost but good reliability. But there again any good used tractor will work better. Because going into heavy debt in a new business isn't a good idea.
