You add soda ash ( to reduce melting point) to it and some percentage of broken glass piece ( to make bonding at 750°c ) and keep everything is a isolated chamber then supply heat continuously upto 1550°c to 1600°c....the you will get glass

That's not how you do it, Basically If melt sand it will turn into a red hot liquid that will turn into glass after it dries. But what you did here is wrong cuz you need to have blocksmith tools to have enough heat and melt it properly

The energy is being dispersed to the other peaces of sand by the law of thermo dynamics! Try separating a small segment of sand on some less thermo conductive material. If it doesn’t work try googling the melting point of sand and the burning temperature of your gas. It all needs to become liquid in order to form crystals structures when it cools. And that sand can’t because the flame doesn’t heat it hot enough and the other sand is dissipating the heat and doesn’t let the first layer melt. Try putting it in something that has a higher melting point and that is a good thermal conductor like metal but that has a lesser melting temperature than the flame that can melt the sand and heat it from underneath. The temperature will rise through the metal and melt it for sure. Sand is glas it has just been recrystallized in a more compressed blob, they just add different stuff to it to make it have different bonds or colors it should make glass like structures on its own with other ingredients.

Lmao doing all this research made my day I didn’t believe my teachers I’d be welding as hot as the sun but now I know but anyways a propane torch could handle this job but I’d mention you should and a forge for this since it’ll be easier to get a select amount made for the experience and I’m sure it’ll be cheaper than trying to heat up a lot of sand but idk your equipment so maybe just a tiger torch and a propane tank and a lot of time 😅but have a good one
