In this video, you can see the Travis Huey “My Aqua Farm” in the background.
This is our favorite aquaponic kit on the market, and we’re running one in our warehouse space right now! It’s a media bed ebb & flow system with a small fish tank below the main media bed.
After running our system for a while for a while, we got to thinking- why not add some ZipGrow™ Towers and grow even more food above the My Aqua Farm? We did this pretty easily by using a Farm Wall™ (shop.zipgrow.com/collections/...) and plumbing it straight into the My Aqua Farm.
1. We dropped a pump in the fish tank to pump water to the Towers.
2. We plumbed the bulkhead fitting in the Farm Wall back into the system.
It’s that simple to build a “hybrid” system like this. All you really need is a pump to the Towers and a drain from the Towers. This means that if you already have an aquaponic system, you can add a Farm Wall quickly and easily.
