Is there really gold to be found in every creek and gold on every hillside? Various folks with prospecting channels have done videos that would say that its possible. It’s a great question, and I want to test and explore it. Even though there are videos that would say a prospector really can find gold in every creek and on every hillside, but to be honest, they doesn’t really talk much about that, even though it’s in the title of the video. In some ways the answer is yes, but in other ways, its no - the truth is complicated. Truth is, nearly all types of rock, including igneous and metamorphic as well as some sedimentary - have tiny traces of gold in them. So, is gold actually everywhere? Well, maybe at this point I should say it’s found in a surprisingly large number of places - at least in very small amounts.
