I only have four kids, but I also banned markers from my house until my youngest is older. It's not the clothes I'm worried about, it's my furniture. Anytime there has been a marker in my house, itz used on walls or furniture almost immediately. And my walls are matte finish so even washable markers do not wash off

I’ll never understand the whole “boys are harder to potty train” ideology. Maybe because i’m a man, but i was also a teacher for toddlers and preschool and my boys were so easy to teach to go potty. They just go, shake and off they went. My girls ADORED chatting on the potty and playing in the toilet paper 🙄
@Supersoccerchic
6 күн бұрын
It all depends on the kid, though. Boys are typically harder to train, just because they like being in diapers whereas girls are easier and have an easier time due to their anatomy, I think as well as personality. If you think boys are easier, that's great but that's not always the case. I mean, I've seen it a ton where boys don't want to be potty-trained and girls do whereas I've never seen a boy want to just be potty-trained where a girl doesn't. Typically, girls are just ready faster than boys, I don't know why but that's what I've read and seen. Also, you just teach them to "go, shake and leave"? Why are you not teaching those kids how to wash their hands after? Little boys are gross and stick their hands and fingers everywhere, not just on their privates. If you don't tell your students to wash their hands after using the bathroom, that's disgusting.
@Cutesiecaiboii
6 күн бұрын
@@Supersoccerchic Yeahhh i took a child development class that completely debunks this. Boys are only “harder” because statistically, women are the ones who do the potty training more and they don’t bother taking the time to learn how to train a male. Mothers are the ones interviewed about these things for statistical research, because society has this mentality that men can’t teach children milestones. It has nothing to do with the child, ALL children learn at their own time, its the moms who are completely against learning about how the opposite sex’s genitals work. To me personally its laziness from the mothers.

Even to this day she still has 6 of her 8 kids turned against Jon. Jon isnt perfect by any means but he's better then Kate. He didn't want to put up with her crazy ass so she tried to turn the kids against him. Thankfully Hannah and Collin were smart enough to see through her. I would NEVER in a million years marry someone who said to my crying child or overstimulated child, "Suck up your tears, stop crying and for the rest of the trip, don't open your mouth." My dad did that a ton and he STILL shushes me in restaurants. I admit, I get excited and am a little loud sometimes but I don't need someone shushing me. If you hate that I'm being loud, go and sit at another table, outside and away from me. I swear, people who are rude like that drive me nuts and I am a Jon lover, way more than Kate. I hope to NEVER marry someone who shushes me at a restaurant. Even if I went on a date with someone who shushed me, they'd be dumped immediately. No one shushes me like I'm a child. Also, don't ever in a million years tell my child to "suck it up" or "be happy" on trips if they're not having fun or in a bad mood. Kids are allowed to have feelings and be heard if they're having problems. They're allowed to have a voice and not just be told to listen to their parents all the time.

What I've noticed is that both these parents have terrible communication and emotion regulation skills. I mean they're short tempered with each other and with the children, causing the kids to be short tempered themselves. Kate would slap her husband and her children, especially off camera. Both parents grab their kids to get them to do as they tell them. Kate off camera was more physical and on camera she was very controlling and freaked out on them. Jon's shouting volume when the kids do play up in front of him is like a pit bull barking. Both parents talk over one another and both of them verbally attack each other, creating unnecessary drama to the people around them. When Jon does try to step up whether it's the children or the house, nothing is ever good enough for Kate. As a result of the lack of respect between the parents, the kids don't have respect either. Season 3 in particular was when this family's behavior was at their worst emotionally. This family was not happy. Once they separated it looked like things were okay, but the result of this whole thing was disastrous.

I’m 10 years older than my youngest sibling and 5 years older than my brother who is the oldest after me. Going out and doing anything as a family was always so stressful and I blame that for how bad my anxiety gets in public spaces. I’ve noticed people who say stuff like this tend to identify with Kate. They sympathize with her and want so badly for her to be the victim, because it means they are redeemable too. Kate even after the divorce was seen to still be a miserable person who doesn’t know how to treat others. My advice to anyone looking to date is to rewatch these old episodes and see how people react. Anyone who sees Kate as some innocent victim should be avoided lol. They are clearly also a narcissistic and abusive asshole. Jon and Kate both sucked in different ways, but saying either one was ‘the problem’ is so telling .
