I filmed an entire movie on the base model iPhone 14, testing both video and photo capabilities in the most challenging vlogging scenarios. I wanted to show you how the iPhone 14 camera's image quality holds up in low light and harsh sun, performing stabilisation tests, photography tests, vlog tests, and cinematic mode B-roll sequences to cover all the bases of making a movie.

This iPhone 14 real world test just goes to show the incredible power of iPhone cameras nowadays. From mind-blowing stabilization and HDR images, to beautiful photography and full cinematic sequences, I’m only now realizing how versatile these devices are. Speaking of the iPhone cinematic mode, it’s crazy how realistic it’s become to the point of being able to film passable B-roll without needing a camera. If this real world test has proven anything, it’s that the iPhone 14 is a highly capable photo and video camera that would be a great addition to anyone’s toolkit.
