When I was a young man, 50 years ago, I decided to see my beloved country Canada, by hitchhiking. Stuck out my thumb and came to see it from coast to coast. It gave me a better understanding and appreciation for where I'm from !

While the temps are not Caribbean like, the lakes/beaches you and I share are great because you don't need to worry about saltwater, sharks, jellyfish,sharks,pirates and all the rest of it. Have fun

What abt freshwater sharks?
@cuttermasterson
4 жыл бұрын
Rob The Slob Personally I like saltwater over lake water mostly because I feel lighter. As to sharks your more likely to get injured by cow. As to jellyfish their not everywhere and I don’t know that many that get injured by them. As to pirates. I can understand if this was around Somalia, but the Caribbean. I think you might have your centuries off.

I have only recently discovered the Sailing Doodles channel, which in turn led me to you and yours. I have written a similar comment to him on his, but I am still in deep lock down here in the UK, the days are long and repetitive. Your videos are an escape from the humdrum. They open a window to a life one only has the chance to live while drifting off to sleep, or try to live while you are young. You are young and going for it. So to share in your adventures is a privilege. Your films lift my spirits. So for that thank you once again. Bxxx

Being a sailor and a Chicagoan for 15 years, along time ago, I craved visiting Georgian Bay. The short season and great distance eventually made that impossible. Now I live in Europe. But I wonder, with all that fun and celebration, did anyone get lucky? :-)
