actually, *they are much more* : they are *living examples* for such a dirty and fallen world like ours! We have to learn soo much from them: to have a clean life, remain obediant (not emancipated) and *to "fear"God* because there is where the wisdom begins! Look to that beautyfull woman ! *(and to much many other ones!)* Do you find something disgusting in her? Do you realize that allmost hers caracter is the result of an opressed life..? Patriarchy, *when is Biblical*, does good to the familly, and gives prosperity, but there are some casses when husbands are without Christ, and then, they fall appart. Maybe you should study *(better and)* more about poliginy

Comments about "Wall" looks? Really? Haven't these women/females been objectified enough? I'm amazed and gladdened there is still a sharp mind and determination with Theresa. The challenges and personal obstacles overcome are inspiring. One day this type of slavery will be taken serious enough to be prosecuted and stopped.

Just read your comment, which I see you made 3 years ago but felt compelled to reply. I, too, am horrified to see so many comments referring to Theresa's looks... The women who have escaped the FLDS are STRONG, BRAVE & SMART. They have overcome abuse of epic proportions that most of us can only guess at. Their lives are all about serving MEN - NOT GOD. Men, who beat, starve & rape them regularly & use their children to "bring them into line". One post made 2 months ago, even went so far as to say "she is so pretty, she would probably do well with modelling..."!! Really...?!! Modelling - a girl who has not had the right to her own body & who sees & uses it...? I cannot fathom the ignorance. SMH. 😩

I'm surprised that these videos don't have many more views given how much media coverage the FLDS got during Warren Jeffs' trial and conviction.. With all of the continued media coverage, and the several documentaries made about the FLDS, the Short Creek community, the Canadian Blackmores, and anything to do with Warren Jeff's you'd think these videos would get millions of views..

@Pagan_Heart

@@gwenscott535 - Couldn't agree more. I see so many of these wholly ignorant & inappropriate comments, which are typically made by men but incredibly not always... People really need to seriously educate themselves about the dynamics of polygamous families, particularly in the FLDS, which is all about serving men, not "God"... It is actually impossible to form proper relationships within a family of so many people - the likelihood of imbalance is a certainty, not just a possibility... Polygamous relationships on this score with wives by the dozen & children by the score just cannot function nor maintain harmony - it's simple math.
@beckya4074

MrMikeinDevon So when you hear that slogan “love should be multiplied not divided” I guess you see plural marriages in the LDS multiplied & happy. But the only multiplication is on the male’s behalf. The women have a divided husband who has to divide his time between multiple wives & dozens of children. Not a very happy married life. Even if you can stand the thought of who he’s having sex w on all your off/lonely/single nights.
