I was so fortunate to live as a temporary settler in BC for two and a half years. It will be forever in my heart, my special place was Spences Bridge - perfect for those who like to hike away from tourists and follow more rugged trails. During my time I saw black bears, Orca whales, various eagles, humming birds, sea otters, a variety of birds of prey...B.C🙏🏽💜💜💜

I recommend not living in Vancouver, but if you were going there for child healthcare like my family, i recommend living in delta. Vancouver is insanely expensive. In delta the school district is very good, and if your child needs extra support it is very easy to get, you just need to help. The housing is also affordable, basements are very cheap, from what i know they scale from anywhere between $300-$400 a month plus groceries are affordable. You probably think its a bad idea because we are right beside Surrey and Surrey is "dangerous" it really isnt i lived in surrey for 2 years and nothing bad happened to me, also at night cops are everywhere, they just drive around so if you ever needed help it would be easy to get it. Also, in Delta we have a very good hughschool called North Delta Secondary School so if you need a high school it would be a very good choice!

So proud to live in such a gorgeous country. I've lived in three of the many places mentioned (Edmonton, Kelowna, and now Drumheller) in the BC and Alberta videos and have visited many of the other places multiple times. Every time I am amazed at how incredibly gorgeous it is. I love my country

From someone who is British and here in the UK, don’t Canadians feel a bit odd about calling one of their provinces “British”, still? Yes, history etc. Yes, I suppose there’s the Commonwealth, but you are in every other way independent: so is there no desire, coming from anywhere, to drop the British part and just call it ‘Columbia’?
@MustDoCanada

haha never thought about it before. But then they couldn't call it BC. It would just be C. haha

I was born and raised in the Okanagan valley of BC. So much to see and do here, don't bother going on vacation to other countries anymore. Ziplining in Peachland, hot springs in the west Kootenays, deep inside an old mine at Hedley, the incredibly clear water in the river south of Trout Lake, the list just goes on and on. We have it all, from desert to rain forest. (not tropical) Take a drive up to the top of Mt. Buchanan and see the entire world

Tracy Z Try Idaho peak near Sandon. Logging museum and railway museum in Revelstoke. The gardens at the Summerland research centre. Lots of people get married there. Cycle the trestles on the KVR at Kelowna. Hike to an old mine in Peachland. Cycle rail trail from Vernon to Kelowna. Revelstoke national park. Incredible view from the lookout at the top, and a magnificent wildflower display in early to mid August. (This year. It's a little late this year and varies) Ride the train! There is an old steam train in Summerland that goes over a really high trestle above Trout Creek. Very popular. You might want to get reservations.

I have never had a passport and never will get one. I do all my travelling in Canada, there's always something new to see. my favourite trip is to the Yukon, I always go back there. which makes me realize that I may need to get a passport for the Alaska trips while I am up there. I haven't done the jaunt over to haines and skagway the last couple trips, the last time I did was before a passport was needed.

Can someone with a quite good knowledge of Vancouver/ Canada help me? I have to decide where to go to study for six months (I’m a sixteen year old student from Italy, so please be kind, my English isn’t perfect). My options are: North Vancouver, West Vancouver and New Westminster. Would you suggest any of these places, or what do you know about them?

However, i have some suggestions that may help you to improve the quality. : The background music's sound of your videos are higher than or similar to the narrator sound. It would be more beautiful If you can make this change. Again thank you for your valuable information about CANADA.
