I don’t use facebook but I’d like to give a shout out to a couple more Canadians. I liked your choices as I am subscribed to most of them. I also enjoy videos by You Can’t Eat The Grass in Kelona BC. They have beautiful flowers all summer and the channel is both quirky and down to earth. Well I think that's pretty funny! I had no idea that there was a family connection between yourself and Lovin Off the Land! I love your great gardening tips and tutorials on things like Drip Irrigation, Bokashi, starting roses from seed and pointing out how to spot hoax videos. As far as Lovin off the Land, I appreciate that they are down to earth and can teach even with mistakes! Love the recipes there. Have already shared the Stinging Nettle/Walnut Pesto to a few groups! Thanks for taking the time to make educational videos! I appreciate you!!

Hi All. This a great list and the comments are so good. It is wonderful to finally find common ground with so many. I have many favourite youtubers in permaculture but I wanted to branch out a little, she is in Ontario and is a shepherdess, as well as her husband and her have a grain farm of a kind. Sandi Brock of Sheepishly Me. She puts it all out there. The Christmas Vlogmas when new lambs are being born is a wonderful treat. There are so many more but she is one of my favourites in Canada. There is also Garden Answer in Ontario Oregon, very good. And Pete of GreenDreamsTV in Florida, well worth the watch. I don't need to have the boots, I just wanted to share the great farming and gardening information. I have been trying to commit and transition to a career in farming, gardening and permaculture, but you know, road blocks, in the meantime, I consume knowledge and support youtubers.

Well Jason, You Are Canadian after all, so it makes perfect sense to promote all things Canadian from time to time. I am subscribed to Stepan's channel and have watched Chris and Steph's video on mealworm farms. I am actually subscribed to about 25 Canadian channels from growing (You & Stephan) to hot rodding, guitar luthier, crazy, outrageous, and many other various topics. You and twoodfdr (guitar luthier) are watched every posting, all the others are random. I'm not entering the giveaway because I would like to see someone who can use the boots, get them. Besides, I'm just here for the content.😉🤙

No man is an island and no one gardener has all the answers. What works for one gardener doesn’t necessarily work for another. Climate, zones, rainfall, soil types , to name a few conditions, all play a part. So it pays to listen to many gardeners to get a well rounded and opened minded approach to gardening.

I have a question about planting weather. My DA roses arrived earlier than anticipated and I have had them soaking for 6 days now because it’s so cold outside yet. At what temp can I get them in the ground? It has been getting down to 30 degrees Fahrenheit at night so was worried about them getting hurt even though they still seem to be dormant at this point. I have heard of people soaking their roses for extended periods of time before but I am worried longer than a week could cause some harm. If I go ahead and plant and the weather does get down to 30 at night are they going to be ok? If not how do I store them until I can plant?

A little touch below freezing won't cause them any harm at this stage.

It's hard to know why you're so bent out of shape about this. I explained why the functionality of the comments section on KZitem isn't great for giveaways (no way to contact the winner isn't awesome). I wish they'd fix it, but in the meantime I ran it on a platform that is more appropriate to the purpose. You don't want to interact with Facebook and I respect that with no questions asked. Your reasons. Your call. I sent the heart because you offered your suggestion of your favorite Canadian KZitem channel. All rational, all respect, no bad feelings on my part.
