yeah, it bothers me to watch non-cat people dealing with cats. did you hear how loud he was talking right by her ears (along with everything else)? you have to be ultra sensitive and intuitive. it's probably not even the best move to approach a cat, straight up (though we all do it). i like to play a little game with them, where i try to make the cat want to come around me. I just give off a beneficent, buddy-buddy, non threatening, i'm-just-chilling-with-you type energy and leave the cat alone. soon enough, they usually want attention. i like to challenge them regarding who can be more enchanting and alluring to each other. lol. (much of the time, they win tho)

My cat headbutts me to say hello all the time. She jumps up on the table next to my computer where I work and leans way forward on the edge and chirp meows until I lean in to acknowledge her presence and then she gives a really happy headbutt while she purrs and rubs her cheeks against your face. It is so cute! She sometimes prefers this to petting even... just rubbing faces. I just adore all cats! The Egyptians knew what was up from day one.

@@KyleenDrake There's a worry there surely, but there is also many videos of them been hunted down and killed along with Mt lions in the cruelest way with dogs!
@KyleenDrake
3 жыл бұрын
@@gerrywhelan5761 Wildlife behaving like wildlife (animals eating other animals to survive) is the natural order of things. When humans get involved, that balance is upset. It's humans that caused so many pets to go feral by dumping them and other irresponsible activity. (cats. dogs.) Humans that have overpopulated and created a need for deforestation, reducing their habitats. And now we have videos going "They're cute, I want one!" as reasons to tamper with their numbers even more. Or worse. Use them as a cash cow. "Here's this adorable animal, lets profit off of it, keep it in a small cage and pretend it's getting great care like it would in the wild for money!" And no one stops to consider the wild population as it begins to dwindle. The deforestation. Why animals in captivity, even in some zoos, don't fare well. Sure they medical care, groomed, fed. But lifespans sometimes are shortened. Cage too small. Muscle loss. Not enough room to build up a full out run. Other health issues slowly begin to emerge after that. And we have the nerve to call it humane.. Best zoos in the world stop keeping dolphins. They die in captivity. Our local zoo admitted it. Stop doing it. They stopped keeping polar bears. Same reasons. They don't do well in captivity. Don't get me started on Orcas. Those documentaries are all over the place. As for large cats, one of my favorite animals, humans should leave them alone. And their habitats alone. They do better without us.

The only difference is scale. If your toe biting purr muffin grew to the size of an adult lion over night, it would be just as dangerous as a well trained "domesticated" big cat... or just as safe, depending on which camp you're in.
@nathanfitzgerald6651

@@genejeffries2888 I understand that. All felines like to play rough so a huge cat is just as likely to maim a person by accident. Roy Horn's white tiger bit his arm off by accident because she saw him as one of her cubs and picked him up by the shoulder to carry him to the food dish, she was trying to take care of him.
