Loved the moment when you checked centimeters by checking dilation cervix. Gotta love a midwife. 🙌🏻👌🏻

hii just came across your story....glad ur doing ok. question...did u ever think about getting a mastectomy after the first lumpectomy?
@manhattanbirth970

Hi! Yes I did. I read a bunch of literature about it because I couldn’t decide what to do. Also I didn’t know if Dr. Heerdt was going to suggest a mastectomy. So I wanted to be prepared. I sat with her and told her I wanted all the surgery I needed, and not what I didn’t. She of course said it was ultimately my choice but that she was certain I didn’t need a mastectomy. So I went with the second lumpectomy. It’s 3 years ago and so far I’m very happy with the decision. I should say my friends who had mastectomies are also very happy. Meaning: you will be okay. Follow your instincts and talk with trusted people. In some cases mastectomy is the only choice. But for some of us, we have options, and it can be hard to choose. It’s very personal and one isn’t better than the other ❤️👊🏼

@@manhattanbirth970 ok thanks for ur reply.....im like getting paranoid at this point..i just want it out of my body already..its been too long and i dont think they're taking me seriously...and im small chested so they're not informing me of how it will look

@@hana036 yes it takes a while to get surgery. It’s normal. They will consult with you about your particular case. Everyone is different. If they think it’s impossible to get a decent cosmetic outcome with a lumpectomy, they will refer you to a plastic surgeon to discuss options. That said, I have many friends who are small chested and had lumpectomies and are very happy! It depends on the size and location of your tumor.
