This update was filmed in the early afternoon of Sunday, May 21, 2023 at my home in Perth, Western Australia.
Note: later on in the journey, we discovered that my ascites contains large pieces of mucin floating in suspension. The reason it stopped flowing after 2.8 litres was because that's how much we got before enough clumps had formed a plug big enough to clog up a 14 French catheter.
Lesson learnt: for mucinous ascites, use a 16 French catheter as a minimum. Consider 18 French if you can.
