One thing often overlooked by a lot of people who care for dogs is the lack of continuous training. A lot of people think that once your dog is trained they are forever trained and that is just not the case. Sit, stay, heel......all of your basic commands are a skill they have learned. Communication between you and your dog is a skill and a skill they will lose if you are not always working their skill. Being so sick I have been slacking in my almost daily training with the dogs and because of this I have to fine tune them back to where I want them to be. Yes agreed we are going through this with our 6 yr old. It isn't even that we have stop training we have just been a little less because his 9.5 yr old brother has been so sick with cancer and he just passed this past Friday. He had a seizure after playing down at our ponds. We have been limiting his play time of course because he has so much less energy but has still wanted to go on his daily walks so we have been doing them but limiting his time per his energy and trying not to over extend him and making sure he has his pain meds ATC. Anyway we have slacked a little because they truly are so good but our 6 yr old has seen bubba getting a little more attention so he has been acting up a little not in a bad way but you know like the side eye and having to repeat what we say when we normally don't have too. So we will give him some time to grieve and hit it hard in a couple of days ❤❤❤

Agreed, I also can tell when I’ve not done my daily work with my pack. That’s when I retreat to my one on one training & then we venture out again as a pack. People will stop me and ask “where are the others?” And I inform them “back to basics, one on one to keep everyone on their toes.” I inform them training doesn’t end, it continues their entire life.

Justice’s face with the slime on his lips at the end would have made a great “Got milk” pic 🤣. Too funny. 😂

I absolutely LOVED this video and would LOVE even more videos like this. Basically showing how you can/ should train your dogs. And Justice’s control was super good considering how young and energetic he is. Such good boys; I rate them 12/10 ❤

Hey Jason. Hope you can give me a little advice here. I’m in Kansas and was wondering if you knew of any reputable breeders. I’m striking out with scams left and right. Thank you

Jason cool vlog you have done a great job on training both dogs and I respect that from you but one thing I do not agree with you dogs are smart an by no means you should of not say "Bad boy" that is a NO NO. You have a very smart breed there and they can pick up on your negativity really fast, the correct way is you should of called him back like you did but say "No" and then correct him. Just a word of advice watch the words that you use around the dogs because you do have a very powerful breed here and they are beautiful but it can take one stupid thing to say or do and then it is game on for them and trust they will not like that. Keep up the great Jason!!!
