Its a recessive genetic color gene - comes up once in a while, not super common but they sure are cute :)

Your puppies are splendid. Not only cute as heck but perfect weight and build for their age (so many CC breeders seem to have fat babies, heavy and stout in the rib cage.) So sweet. Do many Cane Corsos have that stripe down the back? I haven't see that before.

Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment. The stripe is carbonation of the coat and will fade as they grow. Agreed on the fat babies ! Their joints are so fragile - we try to educate but as anyone knows some people (know everything) and refuse to consider a change - and/or just hate the person trying to help

@@Worldwidekennels People seem to think that puppies need to be fat and that feeding their dogs in general make them stronger rather than...simply fatter. It also seems like a lot of CC owners really want Rotties or Super Pitts, not Corsos who (from what I've seen from European breeders) are meant to be leaner and more active with strong joint structure, not massive musculature. Even the breeders who say they know better on KZitem, really focus on the size of their Corsos and the puppies, being more excited by the larger, fatter, puppies.

@@oliviatree we use and prefer European lines ! We happen to have a large size gene in our foundation Import so it pops up (like in Figaro- our foundation Male is his grandsire). In my opinion people THINK they need 150 plus # dog in order for the dog to impress people and to brag about its size.. for mea quality muscular structurally correct athletic dog at 135# is much more attractive and also as the breed was intended. I think many dogs of various sizes are useful but one must know how to breed using genetics to improve their litters and not compound faults 😊
