Don't own a Canik yet, and was thinking about the Rival or Rival S, but the TTI Combat has certainly got my eye with the built in port, especially after watching your video. Although Teah may not be as experienced but still a good shooter, she does have a woman's perspective with smaller hands as well. I think she would outshoot most guys. It would have been nice to see the gun run with just the iron sights. To me it's not much difference shooting iron's vs. the Dot in competition. Great job done by both of you!

I really liked the texture at iwa, the port with the size of a half shut nostril in winter seems like a holster & reliability compromise. Target cam video switches target a bit early (target 2-4) Would be cool if you add the box of ammo as small picture in the video for those that watch without sound subtitles often mangle ammo info, maybe also helpful in the blog. Do you dry fire before going to the range with the pistols you test?
@GBGuns
5 ай бұрын
Other than the dry fire in the tabletop video we conduct zero practice with the guns before the review. That way our First Impressions really are First Impressions. Teya doesn't touch the guns at all prior to a video. The full list of each ammo used is in the article.

Hey, Graham, I know you're a big Canik fan, and I saw some parts on their website that said "Mete SC" which isn't a model that existed as far as I knew. I emailed them, and they said it was not a typo; it's just not available in the US. My guess is they didn't bother to import it and instead gave us the MC9. I know you're not too big on the micro compacts, so maybe you could reach out to Canik or an importer and see if you could get one (the Mete SC I mean).
@GBGuns
5 ай бұрын
I imagine they're not bringing that in because the MC9 effectively replaced the TP9 SC. I'm sure you've seen our comparisons, they're practically two generations of the same gun.

😂 this question cracks me up. No, I certainly do not smoke weed before going to the range. I can't smoke weed at all because I have a very low tolerance to it. Aside from that, weed is still not legal under federal law, so it would be wildly irresponsible for me to partake and be around weapons at all. Hope that answers your question. @GBGuns

The RD issue was environmental and not the dot's fault. When we shoot without a dot, people ask that we use a dot. There will be more videos on this gun. Lastly, these videos exist as part of the article process. Itseasier for me to film than take notes, plus I make a video out of it. Deeper thoughts and reflections are in the articles.
