Don't throw out your corn cobs when you are processing corn put the corns in a pot and fill it up with water boil the corn cobs for about an hour all the sugar and milk on the cob will come out. After one hour pulled the cobs out and measure 6 cups of the Jews after you strain it through a cheese cloth. But it come to a boil for 5 minutes add 2 packages of pectin let a boil for 5 minutes and then add 6 cups of sugar Boil for 5 minutes keep stirring Stir Stir Stir. That is corn cob jelly as a Carmel honey taste and it's so yummy I add cinnamon and red pepper flake One cup of pineapple crushed to mine and mine tastes like a fireball Cinnamon spicy jelly

Try using a bundt pan when cutting the corn off the corn. Put the end of the corn in the hole in the middle to hold cob steady while cutting corn off the cob. Then the corn falls in the bundt pan.
@lusnorthernhome3410

Get yourself a board cut a circular whole in the middle big enough to push a cob through then place a metal bunt pan with whole centered place a garbage pail under it. Push corn cob through the center of bunt pan, cob drops in pail and corn falls to the inside of the bunt pan. Great when harvesting large amounts. Usually we have some one scrapping the juices from cob for cream corn.

Nice thank you so much for sharing. Last autumn I canned beets what you do is you cook your beets remove the skin cut them in small piece, put them in the jars. On the stove you boil 4 cups of water you add 2 cups of white vinegar and 1 cup of sugar, boil the mix until the sugar dissolved. And then put the mixture in the jars and put your lids tightened the bands and once they are cooled you put them in a cold room.

My garden is FINALLY producing. We got it in late. Up north here in South Dakota 😎. I was wondering do you get your gauge checked yearly on your canner and replace the seal? I noticed when you were showing the nipple and release valve your gauge was at about four pounds? Maybe I wasn't seeing it right. We go to our local AG extension office for pressure gauge checks. God bless you sweetie! I'm still so thankful about the radish pods!! It got hot so fast all my radishes went to seed. I picked a bunch for my garden salad last night!!❤️❤️

Hi, I am new to canning ( learned 28 years ago from mother-in-law) agree with you on the new ball book, it confused me when I did my strawberry jam. Yes i felt i ruined it, but listening to you I see that, Okay it was my fault, but new book, had to many different choices. Also I thought its only making 4 pints, with all this time. I messed up and tried doubling, would they would not firm up. So now I watch your videos, follow your suggestions and so far doing much better. Chicken done, beef done, next butter and corn is coming in. Praises and Blessings Karla

I have a question for u when it come to gardening. Our garden went to poop bc we already have custody of our now 4yr old, but now 2 more was add temporary until the end of October. Ages are 3 & 2yrs old. Question is: how do u do all that gardening with kids that young? They are my grandbabies. I never caned until about 4-5yrs ago after we bought our home bc depended on the stores bc I was couponing like crazy. I’ve been even trying to crochet blankets with no success bc they fight all the time. I say I’m gonna wait until they go back to my daughter before I go back to now cleaning out the garden for winter time. Any suggestions instead of wait on hubby to get home to go do picking. Corn look awesome & luv ur channel

Love your videos!!! Just a hint when you cute ur corn off babe. Put ur cob in the top of a bunt cake pan. It helps you hold your cob. The corn falls into the cake pan. It also helps to milk the corn. I don’t know if you know what that means. I live in eastern KY. We have crazy sayings but we take the side of the spoon and scrape the cob after the corn has been cut off the cob. It gives more juice. Easy peasy. I also wanted to kno what kind of corn you use? My mammaw froze and canned sweet cream style corn. I love your canning videos. So I thought you may know. Thank you cause I know these videos are hard to make. I just wanted you to know how much it means to us. Keep up the great work. 💕😃
