Saw these in Bournemouth years ago when I was young, was literally crying with laughter the way Tommy was manhandling Bobby around the audience onto the stage, funny stuff...Rest in Peace.

He was just a pure dynamo of Energy that would make you smile along with all the greats we have lost and yet you can have all the money in the world but laughter is the key to life ,he had that in abundance, they may not be your family just being on tv this duo made my childhood alot happier Rock on and god bless you tommy

@@vaseofflowers4619 Tommy could. He's still with us. Seems to have an unfortunate habit of arranging shows though only to cancel them. We booked twice to go and see him and both times its been cancelled. Whilst there may have been good reasons for the cancellations if he continues to cancel shows people are going to stop re-booking because they'll assume it's going to be cancelled again.

Not quite. I've just checked the list - this was on 11 November 1981. Their 'problem period' started a couple of years later. Tommy is genuinely emotional here, struggling a bit. I reckon that's why he is a bit subdued.

rossmcl177. Yes you are right. They said in an interview on Lorraine Kelly that they had problems for a couple of years in the mid eighties but then Tommy became a born again Christian and their friendship was saved.
