Brian these vids are perfect for watching with my early morning coffee. Just a really peaceful and fun way to kick off the morning.

Funny story Brian, after I built your WG 2.0, I went down to Port Terminal and launched. I ran over a guy's line I didn't see, the line caught under the HDPE rub strip at the stern, and I snatched his rod off the dock. I got about halfway out of the creek and I couldn't paddle anymore, extended paddle, full force. Realized what must have happened, that scraping sound when I went past the dock, so I backed up, the rod came free of the bottom, and the guy was so happy to get it back.

Leash it or lose it, is a common saying in saltwater kayak fishing circles prime example of why right there

I know it's "another thing" but methinks a simple rod holder could have prevented this. Rod holder has to be vertically oriented to bind the on the rod such that it's less likely to be pulled out. Sorry for the loss. I lost one--the only one un-tethered my first time out fishing from a kayak. Got the wood for my F1, but no time/place yet to start. Or to fish!
