@@tireballastserviceofflorid7771 Well, why would you have such a nice latch attached to a bunch of 2 x 4's? Why would the pontoon need to latch when you could make it adjustable? Or what about the elevation of the pontoon? Has it even been in the water yet? Why do you even have a pontoon on a canoe? I've seen people with bigger outboards on a canoe and no need for a weird pontoon setup? Whats the deal?

@jeil5676 Do you have any experience in a conue? Are you a fabricator of any kind? Any experience in this type of build at all? It seems like you are probably incapable of understanding with that that attitude. Can't build factory level just don't do it. Don't do anything unless it's perfect and looks factory. Hehe.. feel sad for ypu.

@@jeil5676 Did you notice the small outboard motor on the other side? Well the 2x4's and 2x6's are for supporting the outboard motor. THe motor can go on either side. The pontoon is to add stability due to having the weight of the motor hanging off one side. It has been in the water but only in a tiny pond so I was not able to get going very fast. kzitem.info/news/bejne/zqqsm4KirqWka2U I am surprised you didn't notice the outboard motor and figure out what the 2x4 was for :D
