Thanks again for the chance GM. Your probably going to LYAO but you have inspired me (not the reason you'll lyao) to build my first led light out of what I have. So first I needed a led so I ordered a 5 pack of those China made 50watt cobs with the built in drivers. The rest is the funny part, I then started to think what I may have laying around I could use for mounting, heatsinking and cooling. At this point I realized I have saved a bunch of Xbox360s from when I used to fix them.. So I took one and ripped it apart and cut it to bits and made a pretty cool little contraption lol. Figured I'd share my experience being you are the one that inspired this cool idea I came up with. Now that I know I can cool 2 led's with one xb360 cooling fan and ducting I am going to mount 2 leds in one contraption. Cheers brother and thanks again for the great content

Sick build man! Question though, with those switches that bypass the controller. I see you have 110v wired directly into the switches from the wall, that's a shitload of amperage to flow through some smaller looking switches. I'm not as familiar with AC wiring as I am with DC; but when wiring any switches into a car, or anything else DC, that said switch will regulate something that pulls a lot of amperage requires a relay or you'll just burn the fuck out of the switch given there being too much resistance. I'm just curious if that isn't much of an issue when regulating AC, and why? Your hard ass work is greatly appreciated man! Keep that shit up!

Hey Mau my friend. Most of what you say is Greek to me but I am up and running with 18-3590's @ 3500k /W 6 COBS per driver and frame and a single potentiometer for everything. So much for my being cutting edge. I blinked... I do have a question if I may? What is your GOAL with this build? What are your expectations? Increased production, better product or a shortened overall start to finish?

@growmau5 sorry for this late reaction-question: as the meanwell driver will only dim down to 10% and i personally want to dim down to off.. going to buy a SSR Relais ( a 3-30v like you mention in this video) as the ssr relais operates between 3-30v does that means that the driver will shut down at 3v (30% brightness??) and i imagine its possible to hook up a potentiometer from rapidled in series between the dimleads of the driver and the 3-30v input of the relais?

While it was a damn near perfect run, I did make a huge mistake on pheno selection. I had 4 phenos, one had a stalk nearly twice as big as any of the rest, I thought clearly it was going to be best yielding, had good smell.... Fucker came in dead last yield, by a good margin! :( Going to attempt to reveg the winner, while i find some clones to run in meantime, sucks cause i have been vegging four monster stalk ED afflicted plants for month and a half.

You can hook up several drivers to the same power cord. Be it a cannibalized 15 amp high draw power cord from a hardware store or even a normal old PC power cord. Use the WAGO connectors for simplicity. Just make sure the total power you draw doesn't exceed the limitations of the power cord.
