Yes that raptor grip just isn't meant to be shot at eye level. You would need a pistol grip to have much control. If I got it which I might I would practice at hip height for everything but hunting. That is where the raptor grip makes sense.

Cant beat it for the price. I will say the rapter grip you see here is no problem to shoot. The pistol grip is horrible and all the energy hits the back of the wrist and that was tested with target loads as well. I couldn't imagine using the pistol grip with buck shot. The but stock is a little long for me but is very light so I've decided to keep it on as its even more manageable. I will one day do a follow up video with the full buttstock

Hi nick, sorry just saw this message. It’s a great gun. I sold the pistol grip as I tried it with the same 2 3/4” target loads I used in this video. Fired 3 shots 2 times for 6 in total but was horrible. I’ve been wanting to do another video with the magpul style full stock bit but i haven’t had a chance yet. The full stock is very light and find very comfortable and that’s what’s on it now. It’s built well and worth every penny. It seems like they’ve raised the price by $50 bit it’s still worth it at that

...? What "Chinese guns" are you referring to? As far as I know there ain't that many Chinese made shotguns around here other than the Stevens 320 (made for Savage), Blueline/Hawk/HR Pardner pump, and some norinco gimmick guns like 1887 and 1897. They're all decent guns.

I've been too nervous to try mine with the raptor and pistol grips. I feel like if I tried getting my head close to look down sight it will kick back and hit me in the face. Can you actually aim with those stocks, if say you were trying to be accurate shooting slugs, or basically only the full stock for any actual aiming?
@kuffs06
4 жыл бұрын
Sorry kyle, I just saw your question now. Life’s been crazy busy these days. The pistol is terrible to shoot in my opinion. The raptor much more tame. I wouldn’t be in a rush to try and aim with a slug with either one. I now have to full stock on mine permanently. It’s a nice shape and is also easy to shoot from a lower stand point as well as traditionally from the shoulder.

How does the plug go in? I can’t figure it out?!
@kuffs06
3 жыл бұрын
Hi Joshua, the plug will have to be cut down to size. Mine was really long but it came with another piece of steel with a large opening like a washer that is a little bigger at the top and bottom. Did you get that? To install it… Just drop the plug into the hall and you will see the end of the plug sticking out about a half inch. Then take the angled washer and put it in to the mag tube. You will be pushing down on the plug as well. It only fits in one way… Once it is in angle the washer back so it sits flat. It actually goes in very easy without any tools. Let me know how it goes if you have problems perhaps we can connect and I can send you pictures
