This is a challenging practice problem that goes through how to determine equations for voltage across and current through a charging capacitor when it is in a circuit that is not a plain RC circuit. To analyze this circuit, we need to use Thevenin's theorem to figure out what voltage source and resistance the capacitor "sees".

You'll find all the basics about capacitors, as well as videos and a textbook chapter to help you understand what is happening and how to analyze charging and discharging capacitors.
