Cape Horn Loop trail was our challenge for the day.Out the door at 7:00am, down Hwy 14 past Camas and through Washougal Washington to mile post 27.The park and ride lots is the start of the trail. the loop was about 7.2 to 8.4 miles and difficult at times. Lots of view points, and we saw all of them. great views most of the day.Waterfall was surging and looking good as we climbed up to the back side of it. very refreshing. The trail has some interesting history of a housing project going in and Nancy and Bruce Russell save the trail by purchasing 12 0f the 16 lots and saving development. The 1.2 road walk at the end of the trail is a sign of the purchased lots. overall great trail in November when most trails are heading into winter months.
