The high center of gravity created by having two heavy split rim wheels and other stuff on the roof is part of the reason it fell over in the first place.

There are so many people standing around the vehicle. Imagine one of those straps snaps, that's gonna end ugly.

LucasTJahn agree, no one seemed in charge and moving around cables with one damper, that's dangerous

The guy and his wife were travelling in their own. We were camped on the other side of Sam Creek when we heard his vehicle tip over. Amazing that his car started first go afterwards. We ran into them up at Seisia a couple of days later and the wife said that their aircon in the cab has never worked better!

When you right a vehicle you got to wait 30mins -1hour to allow the oil, fuel and other liquids to flow back to where they belong and then attempt a start.

There is a sneaky little rocky drop off that was just submerged as you enter Sam Creek. The guy said that he did walk it first, it's a beautiful and crystal clear creek with a hard sandy bottom, but he must have just missed the only dangerous bit at the entry.

The interesting thing about all these cape york fails, is that they all have victorian or NSW number plates. Rare to find one with Qld number plates. Oh, coz we drive those roads everyday and know what we are doing.
