Jeff Hanneman made so many of the classic riffs and songs on South of Heaven, it's crazy. I remember an interview with Tom Araya where he said him and Jeff were mainly responsible for South of Heaven, because Kerry King had something to attend to during the recording and mixing of the album. When you look at the credits, it's easy to believe Tom. Jeff Hanneman made South of Heaven, Live Undead, Beyond the Crooked Cross, Read between the Lies, Cleanse the soul and Spill the blood, all by himself. Remember that Jeff Hanneman also made Angel of Death and Raining Blood on Reign in Blood, as well as War Ensemble, Blood Red, Spirit in Black, Dead Skin Mask and Seasons in the Abyss... I mean, think about it... WOW!

Any chance of Fear Factory - Demanufacture and Obsolete? Demanufacture has probably one of the best mid-90s metal tones aside from Burn My Eyes, and Obsolete has a very very unique tone. Both albums use a JCM800 modded quite a lot (a bit less on Demanufacture and heavily on Obsolete) with a Mesa cab and EMG active pickups, so it should be quite doable with your rig :)
