Please correct me if I’m wrong, (I’ve been learning about DID to be more understanding and knowledgeable of this condition) but I was under the impression from what alot of people have said, that people with DID weren’t allowed to drive when they switch as often as you? How do you cope with driving if you do find yourself switching during your journey? Hope this isn’t too invasive, I just want to understand. Very glad you’re okay and hope you continue to heal 💜

Hi, this is speculation, but I know with tourettes, high risk situations (like driving a motorcycle) help manage the tics - sometimes they disappear completely bc somewhere in the brain it (subconsciously) registers that if something goes wrong you might... Meet your maker soon :'). Since DID is a survival mechanism, it might work the same way, where while driving it makes sure they don't switch/are in a state to drive bc that's also a kind of high-risk situation.

I’m so sorry this happened to you! I know how scary it can be. My freshman year of college I had just moved to a new town and had no clue where anything was. I was trying to navigate somewhere early in the morning using my gps and I accidentally ran a red light and a car was coming towards me. I tried to swerve but was tboned and my car flipped twice across the intersection. I was conscious the whole time and remember the roll so vividly even 6 years later. I was I hysterics. I wasn’t hurt (and neither was the other person) but I couldn’t stand or walk. The aftermath was rough. The accident mentally broke me. I was finally diagnosed with severe anxiety disorder and immediately out on medication. I almost dropped out of college because my brain was a mess. Driving afterwards terrified me and To this day I still don’t like driving very much. You all will get through this! Just take it day by day! Sending you all the love and happy thoughts from a fellow traumatic car crash survivor 💖💖💖

i never comment on youtube videos but omg you are NOT being dramatic in 👏🏻 the 👏🏻 least 👏🏻. in 2018 i was in a high speed highway accident that, like yours, totaled my car and could have been A LOT worse if even just one or two very small details about the impact were different. i was rearended which forcefully spun me off the road into a ditch across 2 crowded highway lanes of traffic, i fully believed i was going to die in the moment, yet somehow i walked away from it with just a bruised knee and whiplash. the other two cars’ passengers also survived but were more severely injured than i was. it really fucked me up for a long time but it has gotten much better with time. i don’t have DID but i do have ptsd and already did at the time of the accident. so no shame, just take care of yourself. we love you and i’m glad you’re still here!

Something similar happened to me about two months ago around Shediac, but on the two-way lanes. It wasn't a deer but another kind of big animal and I felt soooo bad afterwards. I didn't know what to do, I was in shock and my car was still driveable so I continued home. As soon as I saw my dad in the driveway and the damage to the car, I burst into tears. One thing that did help me feel a bit better was to donate to an organization that works toward preventing animal collisions. I already had major driving anxiety, my headlight was busted and the front bumper was messed up, thankfully the other car was only a little dented and everyone was alright, but the people in the other car were this sweet older woman and her grandson and they were being so kind to me and it just made me feel worse that I could've hurt these people. we had to call the cops and I was crying and shaking uncontrollably, the cop was really rude which didn't help. that situation shook me so much so I can't imagine what you're going thru pixie, especially with the deer being harmed and with being helpless on the side of the road :( you're far from dramatic, and of course im glad you all are okay!! thanks for sharing and hang in there

I was in a car accident in 2019 with my friend, I being the passenger. It was a very sudden show flurry. We had been on a four hour road trip and we stopped at a store ten minutes away from my house. When we left the store it was hardly spitting snow, and when we crashed we could still see the sign from the store once the snow lightened up. It was snowing so hard and there was an oncoming car and we started to slide and we had decisions to either hit the car or go off the road and we chose off the road. I called it a "ditch" when I called my mom to come get us but she told me it was more like a ravine 😅. We hit a small cluster of soft white birch trees and the absorbed a lot of the impact. My friend and i were completely physically okay minis some bumps and bruises and mild whip lash. but oh boy was it freaky. I was very numb right after and kinda shut down once my mom got there. I experienced car anxiety after but it's mostly okay now. My friend had a lot of dreams about it after.

@@skrittle555 she's not my idol? I just didn't understand the point? Also I'm 25 lol I don't have KZitem idols 😂. Not everyone that isn't 100% up to date with knowledge of pixie's life is a fangirl, idk how else to say that to you. Regardless, thanks for the info. I didn't know a lot of that. Seems like you guys meticulously documented it though from what I just saw on a 2 minute search on lolcow. Maybe y'all need a new hobby.

Do you have a video where you explain what your sunflower lanyard is/what you have on it?

I have ADD and the vibe switch is 💯 for us too. Jumping from topic to topic like nobody's business!
