Assholes be assholes. I'd set the fine for that asshole at 10k + repair of all the damages they caused. Not only that, but they have to do it themselves. Draconic punishments are what gets the world back on track. Get found with bribe? That's 20 years in jail and the world fields. Are you a cop who got caught stealing? 50 years + work fields. Politician like Santos? That's life in jail. The higher the stepping stone, the higher the punishment and more evil. Unfortunately, with a system where the supreme court is infiltrated by paid stooges, or too weak willed people... that's not gonna happen.

This video explained a lot of things to this Maine boy. When ever we see New York plates we head for cover. I always figured they drove so badly because they were looking at the trees. Evidently there is no vision requirement in New York, That would explain the vehicles passing apparatus going code three to a scene, running into a big white truck pulling two silver trailers, and hitting a fire apparatus while trying to pass a tractor trailer. I truly hope the driver of the reed car was cited for failing to move over a lane for the apparatus and failing to use caution at an emergency scene. Yeah alot of fire departments work with local road crews to handle accident recovery after they deal with the accident itself, primarily because even though the danger to those involved in the accident is gone, the scene itself is still dangerous because of shattered glass and debris. The vehicles involved in the crash, if not already recovered by a wrecker, are also a threat to safety until they are recovered. Good video.. Watching Hazmat do their job was interesting. I hope there wasn't too much diesel fuel down the drain.

This is what happens when you go through a gap that isn't there. What a lemon.

i get what they were doing with the fuel tank but what was it they were using?, looked like whatever it was, was sealed with a thick grease? and then some tape?. I'm guessing the truck wasn't sent on its way and was recovered?

Could you imagine loosen the 2 full tanks of fuel on a truck like that with the prices of fuel these days would be crazy all the money running away down the drain 🤣

rear door ripped forward. looks to me like the semi was at least partly at fault. they were probably both trying to creep by the scene, ended up next to each other. semi thought he had room, went for it, ripped up the acura's driver side and pushed it into the fire truck. seems to me to best fit the facts - total damage on driver's side, only front quarter damage on passenger side.

that's what I was thinking. that car couldn't have been trying to squeeze into a space too small for it or it would have damage to the front driver side from the truck, and it's obvious the door was ripped forward. It's possible the driver wasn't at fault at all here since the clean-up was basically over and the lane next to the hazmat truck was clear. driver could have been in that lane and the truck decided to move over and didn't see the car in its blind spot

@@aliciaaltair My guess is the red car was trying to merge in from the side road when the semi was suddenly switching lanes in the middle of the crossing.
