"Plus. You just don't see them that often". EXACTLY. Hit the nail right in the skull! Jaguars are unique, and different in everyway. I see Mercs and BMW's everywhere. And that gets boring. But when I see a Jag, my jaw drops. That's why I'd get a Jag over its German rivals, all day *EVERYDAY!*

jaguars are so underrated. i remember being at an airport when i was a kid and seeing a jaguar inside it for show, and it blew me away. don't remember the exact model but i remember it was a jaguar and it was awesome. Ever since i wanted a jaguar. And this xj is perfect for me since it's rear wheel drive, supercharged, awesome styling. probly the first car ill get when i can afford it/

TheRevolutionary465 Great thinking! I also used to think like this, but Jaguars depreciate a lot in value that’s why I lost interest in jaguar but their styling is very attractive.
@gatsbylight4766
4 жыл бұрын
@@ashfaqurrahman5731 - _"...depreciate a lot in value"?_ Well, yeah... that's kind of a good thing. You can now get a $100K car - a Jaguar - with just a few years age on it for $25K. Same car, same Jaguar, same luxury, same styling, but at a price you can't beat. The only other marquee with a better value is to wait a few years for a Bentley to lose $200K in depreciation and buy a used Bentley.

While I don't agree on you on most of your points, you do bring up some valid points for discussion. I love how you pointed out some (what may seem minor to kids and amateurs) details that is actually a big deal to a person inside the car. Unlike motortrend who just waste time with drifting, drag times, and lap times. The positioning of the buttons, the whole satnav system, panel screen operation, leg room, etc; this is what a proper review should be. I have personally driven an XFR and compared it to some of the BMW's and Mercs on the same category. What I loved the most about Jags is the presence of comfort inside the cabin while driving (to be honest, how you operate the satnav system on a Jag is much livable than in an Audi). The seats are comfortable, The AC works, and the suspension feels like it's made of cotton. Most German cars are just a headache to drive. Yes, German cars do drive faster than a Jag, but it's just not oriented for the road as a Jag. A Jag is truly a gentlemen's car. Good Review.

Max Tabor "Jaguar" comes from Portuguese, and if you hear someone say it in Portuguese, you'd be shocked to find out that the Americans actually pronounce it more properly (closer to its roots) than the British. You'll find the same in Spanish; spelled the same, pronounced "HA-gwar." You're welcome.

Johnny Barrett i have spent $20k in 4 years keeping 2 XJRs on the road. High mileage ones i have to say. It is a low-numbers edition with expensive parts which is what kills you. The flip side is that these have fully depreciated. And don't have all that electric malarkey like touch screens and blue tooth integration and keyless entry and push button start and all that unnecessary junk. And will look good when everything else looks dated ....

Steering weight =/ Steering feel. A heavy steering can give the driver 0 feedback, drive the M5. A light steering can emit lots of good feedback and the driver can actually tell what the front wheels are doing. Drive a Miata or an XJR/XFR to understand this sensation. The digital dile is used in many cars.. its not old school at all, i dunno what sources this guy gets his info from. but they are used for cars with dials that cant keep up with the rpm. Lambo and audi has them as well... whats so old school about that

Looks wise the XJ is the sexiest, almost as sexy as my Aston Martin Rapide, makes my S63 look like it's wearing a fatsuit. Nobody with these cars uses the GPS lol, it's still better than the system that Bentley/Rolls have (I drive delay in my Bimmer is the same so DK what you're going on about). Jaguars infotainment system is the easiest to use, when a car looks and drives this good, you overlook a 5-second delay to turn on heated/massage seats lol. You buy these cars because of how they feel, drive, look, the exclusivity, the craftsmanship and performance, not the GPS, which no one with any 150k+ car uses anyways, everyone uses their phones or knows their way around.
